Park Front Cottage - 15 Minutes To The Beach!

This spacious 3-bedroom cottage is located on Smithcreek Park, just steps away from lush green space, lake, playground, and paved walking trail.

The house features a cozy living room, with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, and a dining area with seating for six. The bedrooms are all a good size, and the master bedroom has its own private bathroom. The second and third bedrooms are equipped with full size beds and all linens and towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for family dinner, including full appliances, Keurig, and an air fryer! The house also has a washer and dryer with complimentary soap provided. Traveling with your family is made easy with the provided high chair, pack-and-play, and family activities! Sip your coffee while enjoying views of the lake or cook some s'mores on the private patio fire table.

Use the private garden path to the park and explore the great outdoors! The lake is a popular spot for canoeing, paddle boarding, and catch-and-release fishing. It is also a great place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. This rental is perfect for families or group of friends looking to relax and explore the Cape Fear! It is located in a quiet neighborhood, just 15 minutes from Wrightsville Beach and historic downtown Wilmington. This home is also pet friendly, with a fully fenced front and back garden, so you can bring your fur babies with you!

Weekend Visiting Family

The house was perfect for our weekend visiting family in the area, and our dog loved the fenced in yard (front and back). The landscaping was beautiful and being adjacent to a park/preserve with a nice walking path was an extra bonus. Monica was great to work, proactively communicating and very responsive. A perfect stay!

Great accommodations and Dog friendly!

A nice house, a nice backyard adjacent to a park with waking path and a lake. The house is perfect for a family of four and a dog. The extra’s were great! The boys loved the bikes. The location was perfect for our needs and close to the airport and shopping. We will be back. Thanks!!!

Monica’s home was absolutely wonderful. It was very clean, well located, and had an exceptional host. She was so quick to respond to my messages and was very hospitable. It was well worth the price and I’m so glad that we opted to stay here vs a hotel while visiting family. While we weren’t there for a beach vacation, it could not have been more perfect for our needs. The outdoor space is beautiful as well which was a major bonus! We are child free, but it was very kid friendly and my niece liked it so much when she accompanied us for check in, that she mentioned renting it for her family with small children the next time she’s in town as well. I hope that the next time we stay, it will be for more than one night and we can enjoy more that the house and location has to offer. Thank you for everything!

Lovely little house, close to everything!

The Lilac House was a great stay (two adults, two teens, one dog) in a quiet neighborhood and super close to everything. Living space is in the center of the house with bedrooms on either side. The kitchen and dining area are on the back of the house and face the fenced back yard-patio/deck area. (The front yard is also fenced which our dog loved!) There is a view of the lake from the back deck and easy access to the lake from the backyard (walking the loop there is a must - very pretty and well kept, great exercise). Sheets and towels were provided and the kitchen was well equipped - can’t think of anything we needed that wasn’t available. The house was clean and very comfortable. Our host was a delight to work with and was always very responsive during booking, our stay and follow-up after check-out. We would absolutely book this home again for a future visit. Wrightsville Beach is a very short drive and was really pretty! The water was clear and blue and the beach is well taken care of (parking there is a challenge, but manageable). The Wilmington River Walk was also close by and there are several restaurants and unique shops on the streets leading to the river view. Spent our last day at Carolina Beach (maybe a 30-ish minute drive) - pretty beach, better parking situation, boardwalk, shopping, amusement park at the boardwalk, etc. Would definitely visit again!

Perfect little hideaway

Amazing communication with Monica! You can tell this gem is near and dear to their hearts and they are happy to open their hideaway to guests. Clean and quaint, fully equipped with things for children of all ages to stay occupied with! Yard is great for pets and the location is close enough for your trip to the NC Aquarium, UNCW, and a variety of different beaches all within a short trip! Monica made check in super easy, made sure that we had everything that we would need from them, and had amazing communication throughout our stay! Thanks again for your hospitality!
