Great location in Wimberly Texas
The accommodations could not have been better and the owners Suzi and Ian were a delight. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Everything was perfect and we would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to stay near Wimberly Texas that is not too far from Austin. Texas hill country is beautiful and early April there is quite comfortable. The only thing that the owners could not control were the clouds on the day of the eclipse. The stay was wonderful in spite of missing totality.

Birthday Getaway
This property is just what we needed to spend a few gloriously relaxing days in the beautiful Texas Hill Country! Just as described, the place was clean, close to town and many local attractions, and best of all it was quiet and peaceful with beautiful surroundings. We saw a good number of deer on and close to the property, and the occasional music of the wind chimes was a unique and enjoyable touch. We would definitely love to return!

Nothing Compares to the Nest
I traveled in for a long weekend for work and pleasure and Mt. Baldy Nest was pure perfection. Spotless, pristine, and peaceful with a beautiful view and patio. The interior was perfection from the ultra-clean bathroom to the fresh sheets, comfy bed, and immaculate kitchen. Along with the amazingly organized kitchen area, and the recliners and tv, there was nothing you needed. I enjoyed a nightly walk around the neighborhood and up Mt Baldy. Close to town, grocery, church, lakes and more. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

Perfectly clean and has everything you need
Great location, perfectly clean, and has everything you need and some things you wouldn't have thought of - down to binoculars and a birding guide. Great touches throughout, and a perfect size for a couple days away with my husband. The only "issue" we had was running out of foil, and the host immediately responded and supplied more. No complaints whatsoever. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful and Relaxing
I stayed here for a little quiet weekend by myself. It was perfect. The property is gorgeous, and it was so nice and quiet, I was able to catch up on a lot of reading. I loved that it was a short walk over to the steps up the mountain - it just added to the beauty and peacefulness. The owners were easy to communicate with, and provided everything I could have needed. Beautiful place!

Comfortable Relaxing Nest
This comfortable efficiency apartment is a perfect place for a couples stay. The host has made an effort to include everything you need. The property has wonderful outdoor space and a beautiful sunrise view of Wimberley. The balcony table is perfect for morning coffee while listening to the birds and wind chimes. Only one important consideration, you must be able to negotiate steps and a driveway incline to enjoy this beautiful space. We took advantage of the Old Baldy trail to climb to the the highest point in Wimberley. It was a challenge but we were rewarded with a magnificent 360 degrees view. Definitely a place to return to next time we visit hill country.

Don’t pass up staying here!
The place was perfect for just the two of us. Everything was very clean and they thought of everything as far as having things on hand you may have forgotten at home. The property is beautiful with really nice relaxing areas to hang out, and is walking distance from Old Baldy, a really cool place to walk up stairs to the top of the hill and see all the views the hill country has to offer. The property is also just a few minutes outside Wimberly square, so if that’s your destination, it takes you no time to drive there. AC, water, noise level, property owners are all exceptional. We will definitely stay here again!

Spring Fling
Comfortable, clean, welcoming, beautiful accommodations. Located in a perfect spot, not too close and not too far from town. Surrounded by many outdoor activities. The weekend surpassed our expectations. Previous comments stated that the host thought of everything......they truly did!

Beautiful Retreat, Amazing View
My husband and I came here for a time of reflection on the past year and to plan for 2023. This spot was perfect. There was a panoramic view of the hills from the front porch. The room was clean, nicely decorated and equipped with everything we could want. Suzzy was very responsive to all our inquiries. Old Baldy (prayer mountain) is just steps away. 8 minutes to downtown square.

A Nice Little Nest
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the Mt. Baldy Nest. Our hosts thought of just about everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Hopefully the weather will be better next time so we can enjoy the outdoor area a bit more.

You won’t be sorry! Amazing!
This beautiful garage apartment is even better than the pictures. You know how a lot of people post pictures that are enhanced and the place looks better in pictures? Well Mt Baldy’s Nest was even better than enhanced pictures. Everything was quality and it looks like it is newly renovated. They did not use cheap materials. It was nicer than many nice hotels I’ve stayed at and I’ve stayed at quite a few over the years. The price was amazing for what is provided. Suzy didn’t miss a thing. She thought of everything that a traveler might need or want to have a relaxing stay; comfy bed, lots of pillows, cotton waffle robes, extra cozy blankets which we used down at the wonderful fire pit, perfectly stocked kitchen, a bottle of wine and chocolate to welcome you, sparkling water to drink, a serene sleep machine, many movies, two great comfy recliners, remote everything, and don’t even ask how great that shower was! Large enough for two with seating around with amazing water press. The decks were just perfect too! Three of them and even though Suzy and her husband live in the house next door, there was privacy. The wind chimes were deep toned and just beautiful. We saw deer in the back yard. The view was spectacular from the upper deck where we had morning coffee. This is the perfect place for a couple to relax and unwind and Wimberley is just a few minutes away and such a neat town. I highly recommend this beautiful place to relax and unwind. The area was dry but with some rain, this place would be even more beautiful. Thank you Suzy for a great stay!

I would like to say a Big Thank You! A lot of thought went into the Nest to determine what would make it super comfy and inviting when you walked in. Comfort, great internet and all the little items that one really doesn't want to take from home I feel should be included. I am so glad you loved the shower; this was one of my priorities to also add comfort - hence the bench! Providing items in the kitchen was also a big must, who wants to run to the store for little things? Thank you for your thoughtful review, it meant a lot to me. I look forward to your next visit!

Amazing Stay
My wife and I stayed here visiting family in the area, the view as soon as you climb the stairs to the living area is amazing. As soon as you walk in, your greeted with an incredibly clean area with anything you could need, a kitchen area, a very comfortable bed, 2 recliners for the TV area, a full sized fridge and a dining area. Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay, Suzzy and Eoin were very easy to communicate with. One note for people not familiar with the area, the roads around Mt Baldy are very narrow, so be prepared for some tight turns and pulling off if someone else is coming the other direction

Lovely property that is cozy and beautiful, very close to Wimberley and everything the town offers. Great view and the hosts give you privacy but are close by if you need anything and have thought of every amenity to make your stay clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back!

Great Views!
This place was perfect! It was nice, clean, and had amazing views! Property manager was awesome! If you drive around to the other side of Mt. Baldy, you can walk up to the top and watch the sun set! Great Stay in Wimberly
Mt. Baldy Nest is a wonderful place to stay in Wimberley. The unit is well appointed with everything you need for a getaway. It's close to downtown restaurants, shopping, and activities. I would definitely stay here again.

Top Notch
This is the most "user-friendly" property I have ever stayed at. Both the check-in and check-out process were easy-breezy, everything in the unit was notated and explained, and they've provided any thing you could possibly need and then some - a bottle of wine of your choice and pick your own movies! Suzzy could teach a master class in hosting.

Wedding weekend at the nest!
We were visiting the area to attend a wedding and came across this little gem. It was in a great area with a great view. Everything you needed was available and neatly placed and organized. Very well decorated, clean, and no doubt, “comfortable”! Lots of comforting mood lighting inside and out!. Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed all the outside areas, but will definitely revisit if we are ever in the area again.

Gem in beautiful Wimberley!
Fantastic apartment with gorgeous view and everything you need to be comfortable. We could have stayed for a month, but it was just a weekend trip for a wedding. The apartment is decked out with a nice kitchenette, double recliner for movie watching and all the toiletries you probably forgot to bring. Deck with bistro table is a charming place for a glass of wine with a view. Great place!

Amazing place to get away!!!
Loved this little place. Although you’re in a neighborhood, it’s very secluded with little to no traffic. On top of a hill, you definitely have a great view. The host of the property was amazing as well. Thank you Ms. Suzzy for a great weekend getaway.

Absolutely Amazing Getaway
This was the best experience I've had renting a property. Our host has thought about everything detail and amenity we could have imagined. We left our tablet and she went out of her way to get it back to us. We'd stay here a million times over again. It was perfect for my husband and I.

Hidden Gem of Wimberley!
Mt. Baldy Nest was the perfect place to escape for the weekend. Suzy was such a splendid hostess, her and her husband thought of everything we could have ever hoped for! Upon arriving, they gave us a bottle of wine along with many movies to choose from. The shower was lovely, bed comfy and even had a kitchen to make food. The VRBO had everything we could have wished for while still maintaining a cozy feel. The location was perfect with lovely views with a short 5 minute walk to the trail up Mt. Baldy. When we come back to Wimberley, we will certainly look to stay here again! Thank you Suzy for everything, y’all are the best!

A Piece of Heaven Mt. Baldy Nest
Cannot began to explain how much we loved Mt. Baldy Nest ! Everything from our loft to the views were perfect. Very clean homey and much more goodies than you could ever imagine. Christmas Honeymoon
We were blown away by our experience in Wimberley. The Nest was absolutely perfect for us. Every detail was thought of. Any and everything we might want or need was at our fingertips including things to do while staying there. We were visited my deer. We had the best view from our room. We were only minutes away from Old Baldy and a quick hike to the top for an amazing view. We had no idea that Wimberly would offer us. There were so many things to do while we were there. We will definitely be planning a return trip in the future.
