Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Cabin with serene private lake views from living room and bedroom. Large deck to enjoy the view and enjoy your favorite meal or beverage. Fully equipped kitchen. Quiet and gated community with fishing ponds and many walking trails. Many activities - Enjoy fishing, take the kayak onto the lake, make s'mores at the fire pit, relax on the 2 person hammock, enjoy the trails or play backyard games. A true peaceful retreat from city life.

Located in a resort community with gated access, this cabin has about 700 sqft of living space with 1 bedroom, a bunk bed in the living room. Direct lake access from backyard to the largest pond in the community.

PLEASE NOTE: Inside fireplace is not to be used!

There is a noise detection device in the living room on the ceiling. This device does not record audio. It only detects the noise levels and alert if it is too high

Very quiet and peaceful. We liked sitting down by the water with the fire pit going watching the geese. The home is a lake cabin with comfortable amenities. Nothing fancy, just the things you need.

The neighbor was extremely nosy… And I feel like the ad listing should list rules such as burn band or no burning however, that was not disclosed, and there was a fire pit there. They should’ve also disclosed that we could not have visitors as well.

Excellent host. Great communication.Firm mattress. Great sleep. Quiet property but occasionally brief traffic noise. Great little lake. Good fishing. Fun kayak. Scenic. Water, pines and deciduous trees. Canadian geese, ducks, blue dragon flies, loud crickets, quiet neighbors. Good firepit some wood, chairs wired together but some movement. Ok. Now for the not so great. Cabin ok for fishermen but not great for spouse.Two tiny tvs, had to move one off fireplace to be able to watch, but did have programming. Not essential. Small kitchen with poor lighting. Creaky uneven floors. No bedroom closet. Bathroom terrible. Fixtures in shower slid around, not secure. Not enough space for normal personal items. Huge exposed water heater tank, low toilet seat. Worst part of my stay. Good coffee maker with coffee. My opinion, ok fishing cabin. Great outdoor features, sad cabin features.

This was a perfect place for some quality self-care time! The inside of the cabin was clean and comfortable, and the view was incredible. It was wonderful to sit outside each morning and evening and just enjoy the peace and beauty of the lake.

Very quiet and peaceful area. Easy access. puppies loved the area to run especially near the levee. Good owner response times. Unit was clean, although needs many maintenance items to be addressed, (kitchen drawers broken or missing, floors sagging, bathroom shower area, window and sliding doors in need of serious maintenance to name a few). Found furniture to be uncomfortable and kitchen supplies lacking. Pictures of unit and property in the current listing are not what the property actually looks like. That might be considered a little deceiving.

Fantastic area and lake view. Run down, not well cared for, needs site maintenance and upgrades. Drove 3.5 hours to get there, spiders, old uncomfortable furniture, missing decor, repairs needed through out. Very disappointed, left the next morning.

Quiet Getaway

It was a quiet spot. Only two issues prevented a 5 stars rating. The listing should mention that the pond is catch and release only. We didn’t find that out until we read the additional listed info on the frig. We probably wouldn’t have booked and my husband was disappointed. We did end up going 20 minutes away to state park to fish. Also, bedroom sliding door left a gap when close. Assuming due to foundation shifting which you can tell from the sloping within, but we had to stuff a towel between door and frame to keep the gnats from getting in. We brought a bug zapper so was able to get rid of most. Overall, we enjoyed our break away from the busiest of our day to day.

Our stay was great. The place was clean, and communication with the host was good. The first phone number provided did not pick up calls, but the other number was the gentleman- he was available for emails and calls with questions. The only con is that the exact house number was not provided. They do provide instructions but adding the exact house number will be easier for other guests. Also, exiting was hard as the code did not work, a resident had to open the gate for us. So a clear exit gate code will be great. Overall, great stay and would recommend.

Great Getaway!

We had a wonderful time at the property. The living space was great and the outdoor even better! It was quiet and relaxing and the views were beautiful! We took some prepped food with us, although there is a brookshires about 15 min away. There is some walking available although the labeled trails seemed to be overgrown so we just walked around the neighborhood. We did not have any issues and would love to come back! Thank you!

Relaxation

It was a great getaway. The community was so quiet and the location was perfect for everything we needed or wanted. The lakehouse was very quaint and very clean. My husband fished, our beagle strolled the property and I rested. Everything mentioned in details are spot on, with great communications. Hope to be back again.

Birthday Getaway

We came up for my 30th to have quiet mornings on the lake and make smores over the fire at night. It was very cute and cozy! We brought a yoga mat to sit on the dock and it was the best idea! The neighbors are quiet and the lake is serene. The canoes has to be de-spidered but that’s part of the charm! We made all our meals and had no trouble. My best suggestion there Is to bring a pitcher or something to cook in. Meagan was an amazing host and we really loved it!
