Our modern vacation home, newly built in 2020 and located in the heart of the Südheide, offers space for up to 6 people on a lot of over 800 square meters, plenty of comfort, a large garden, and a terrace with a grill area. There are also 2 parking spaces on the property.
The modern, open-concept kitchen-living area is fully equipped with a large ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, large refrigerator, and freezer. Here, you can start your day with the whole family and wind down the evening in a relaxed atmosphere.
The 4K LED TV with satellite connection and the Blu-ray player provide entertainment, and of course, free Wi-Fi is available via a fiber-optic connection. You’ll find another LED TV in one of the two bedrooms, each of which is furnished with a double bed. A crib is also available.
The house is wheelchair-accessible, and one of the two separate bathrooms features a very spacious walk-in shower.
The second bathroom boasts a modern, stylish sauna!
There’s also a separate guest restroom.
In the utility room, you can safely store your bicycles, for example. You’ll also find a washer with a dryer function and ironing supplies here.
The house is equipped with an efficient heat pump and underfloor heating. A controlled ventilation system ensures a fresh indoor climate during the day and a restful night’s sleep at night.
The house is located in the Walle district. In the town of Winsen, you’ll find everything you need for daily life, including pharmacies and doctors.
The Meißendorf district offers the Hüttenseepark, a popular destination for those eager to swim. Right next to it is the Meißendorfer Teiche nature and bird sanctuary, the largest wetland area in the Lüneburg Heath and a paradise for birdwatchers, among others. Not far from there, at the Teichgut Sunder, nature tours and nature conservation seminars are offered.
In Winsen itself, a visit to the Museumshof is highly recommended; right next door, you’ll find excellent cakes and pastries.
For families, the Lüneburg Heath and the Südheide offer plenty of entertainment. Heidepark Soltau, Serengeti Park, and Walsrode Bird Park are certainly the best-known attractions here, but by no means the only highlights.
Hamburg, Bremen, or Lüneburg are always worth a detour, and the state capital, Hanover, also has plenty to offer, such as the Herrenhausen Gardens or the Adventure Zoo. The half-timbered houses in the county seat of Celle, as well as the castle, are only a 20-minute drive away. And if you’d like, you can take a boat from Winsen to Celle—there’s generally plenty of activity on and along the Aller River.
Also not far away: the Snowdome and the Ralf Schumacher Kart Center in Bispingen (well worth a visit), or the outlet center in Soltau—in case the weather doesn’t cooperate.
For active vacationers, in addition to hiking and biking, there are options such as canoe trips on the Aller and Örtze rivers. You’ll also find activities for horseback riding enthusiasts in the surrounding area.
For late arrivals, we can provide a “survival package” upon request. You’ll find everything you need in the fridge for a stress-free breakfast on your first day of vacation. And, of course, a cold drink for the evening of your arrival. Please contact us directly at least 3 days before your arrival!
Please understand that we are currently unable to accommodate pets. Check-in and check-out outside of regular hours are available upon request.
Please bring your own bed linens and towels.
We look forward to welcoming you and wish you a pleasant stay in the Südheide.
