Situated on scenic Lake Idylwild, this home features a private dock and connects to 18 other lakes in the chain, opening up endless opportunities for water adventures.



Bring your boat or jet skis—there’s a public boat ramp just under a mile away at Lake Cannon Public Park. We also provide two kayaks—including one specially outfitted for fishing. From the dock, you can explore the lakes, fish, visit waterfront restaurants and bars, or even boat directly to Legoland for the iconic Cypress Gardens ski show. Need a boat rental? What a wonderful place to gather with all our kids and grandkids! The place is beautiful and well appointed, with everything you’d need for a family get together. The kitchen has all the necessities to cook a full meal down to plastic plates and utensils for small kids. Will definitely come back for our next family gathering!

Great Place

I took multiple teenage boys to spend some time on the lake. Lake Access is great. And there is a lot for the boys to do at the house, foosball, pool, table, cornhole, etc. everything was great.

Lovely home!

This little house is beautifully renovated and located in the perfect place. There is plenty of room for a large family, and this property caters well to small children. The lake is lovely, and the kayaks were great for fishing and paddling. It was very comfortable, lots of fun, and had absolutely everything that we needed. It truly felt like we were at home. The enclosed patio was the perfect place to hang out and visit, play pool, cards, and foosball. If we are in the area again, we will most certainly stay here.

This house is perfect for kids and adults when it comes to entertainment! The lake is beautiful and we rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed the Chain of Lakes! This house had everything we needed plus more!

Wonderful home away from home in Winter Haven

This is my third WH rental in the last 3 years and this was by far our favorite. The information app/link that was shared in advanced of the visit was incredibly helpful and getting the home access code prior to arrival made moving in flawless. The house itself is beautifully decorated and modern, with full spectrum of appliances and a wonderful kitchen. We had multiple TVs on which to watch March Madness, including a big screen in the living room that was a huge hit. But for us, the highlights of the 10 day stay were the beautiful dock and the sunroom. We sat out on the dock before our baseball outings and after. We watched the sunrise and sunset with the local wildlife. There is a baby gator who would just swim up and stare at us (in a friendly way) and we even tried our hands at fishing. There are cranes, ibises, ospreys, bald eagles, turtles, fish...the list goes on. And the sunroom! Foos and billiards: what's not to like? We had long nights gathered around the well apportioned tiki bar. I've gotten used to buying bar supplies when I rent a home, but this house had everything. The temperature control is such a plus; we could use the space from morning to night. It is a fantastic space to read in the mornings. Finally, some WH tips--we really enjoyed Fire for lunch and Nutwood for dinner. Twisted Prop for lakeside beers. The bar at Arabella's for wine/pasta. ABC Liquors for wine/spirits. Easy access to Lake Myrtle for baseball (12 min). Great home!

Christmas by Lake Idylwild

We were very impressed with this property, it is well equipped with everything you’ll need for a stay. Close to Publix and everything else, quiet dock to enjoy a cup of coffee or an adult beverage! There was plenty of room for the six adults to stay and another five to visit and celebrate christmas! Thank you!

Lovely home

The pictures online doesn’t do it justice how beautifully decorated the home is, as you walk in you have a clear view of the lake. The kitchen has everything you need to a nutrí blender to some salt and pepper. The beds super comfortable, and the pillows were amazing buying some myself of the same kind. Lovely home, already recommended the home to some who want to go to LegoLand some of our family. The kids enjoyed the backyard lots of greenery to run around. If you stay here watch the sunrise breathtaking views.

Great stay at the lake

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. It was a great location and we used it as a staging area to move our son into FSC dorms. Close to grocery shopping and some decent restaurants. My son was able to catch a fair amount of bass right from the dock. Oh and the AC unit in the sun room was a game changer since it was so hot outside. Will likely stay here again when we come to visit our son.

Baseball tournament weekend

Beautiful and Comfortable House

This house has been beautifully renovated. It felt modern and cleans and took care of every need we could possibly have to include a baby gated play area for the little ones. We loved relaxing on the patio after a long day at Legoland and the Florida Strawberry Festival. This was the perfect spot for my family of 6 to enjoy a nice vacation while attending attractions. Thank you! Will return.

Great property and location

Fantastic property, quiet and great location for Legoland and bass fishing on the lakes which was our main aim. Also not too far from other theme parks and golf courses. Everything well set up in the house for our arrival and the grand kids loved the games room!!

Beautiful Lakefront Home

We truly enjoyed our 4 night stay at this newly remodeled home on Lake Idylwild. The house was very clean, well decorated, and stocked with everything we needed to feel right at home. My two boys loved spending time fishing and playing in the awesome game room - pool table, foosball table, and even corn hole! The large kitchen and dining area made it easy to prepare some home cooked meals and I even had my own office area to keep tabs on work. We highly recommend this home to anyone staying in this area!

Lake House

Great property on lake Idylwild. Able to enjoy all the lakes on the Harris Chain Lakes. Plenty of room for our family. Loved the outdoor AC room for after a long hot days on the water. Hopefully will be able to go back again!
