“We were handsomely welcomed and looked after. The room was superb, very generously sized with an excellent bathroom. The balcony overlooking the meadows bordering the river Wye was a delight, especially as we arrived at tea time with the sun shining on the house. Very relaxing after a longish car journey. I enjoyed my classic cooked breakfast and my wife enjoyed an avacado-based poached egg. We hope to return during 2027's Hay-on-Wye Literary Festival.”

“The wifi is not great. So if you are planning to have some office work, I recommend take 5G device with you. Vodafone 4G worked for us but if you sit near the window. The cottage is nice and as advertised. However, 2 things don't do in its favor: 1) The cottage is surrounded by amazing view but the cottage itself has no view ( the windows open to the street and house opposite).
