“What an amazing stay! From the moment we checked in, we were blown away by the beautiful property, outstanding service, and gorgeous room. This trip was a gift from our kids, and it turned out to be one of the best presents we’ve ever received. We made wonderful memories and can’t thank everyone enough for such a special experience. Highly recommend! We stayed at another Hilton prior to this one and I gave it the same review. This is a hotel that can be trusted wherever you book.”

“The best way to describe this hotel. It’s a vintage hotel with a really nice vibe. Has an outdoor pool. Has an indoor pool as well that is heated. a really big fitness center with a couple TVs. Sometimes the lobby temperature could be off heck no big deal. I’ll come here every year. Pool outside is on pomperaug river overlooking the golf course. Plenty of parking. Restaurant onsite with great drinks and bar menu. TVs. Closes at 900/930pm”

“Property is well kept. Smells amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and replenished as needed. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking garage is a plus and location was easily accessible and quiet. Would stay again”

“The rooms were nice and clean, the AC worked great. The beds are a little hard but comfortable enough, the breakfast was nice and hot but the pool was cold… the kids didn’t care though they had a blast. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Over all great stay for families.”

“They charged me security deposit and it somehow disappeared from my transaction history and never showed up back. My bank cannot find the transaction. On my second stay they charged my card twice for security deposit. Based on reviews this has been an ongoing issue with this location. I’ve been to several locations and a hour after checkout I always get my deposit back, but for some reason this location holds onto your money.”

“Charming B&B in a scenic corner of Connecticut. If you have a car there are several scenic areas within easy reach. The building has historicla atmosphere; as a consequence the itnerior decorating tends toward heavy oak and canopied beds. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment; the serve-yourself banana bread and add-water oatmeal bags left in a corner did not match the ambience of the place.”
