Country Cottage ligger i charmiga Suffolk Village

Stugan, nära kyrkan och strandängar, ligger på ägarens egendom och har bra faciliteter och parkering. Det är på en nivå och är lämplig för personer med gångsvårigheter. Den har ett sovrum, ett duschrum och en öppen planlösning, kök och matplats, samt en privat uteplats med bord och stolar och en grill. Ufford har två mycket bra pubar i byn, The Ufford White Lion och The Ufford Crown, båda bara några minuters promenad från stugan. Det finns också några vackra landskapet promenader hittas på tröskeln. Endast 3 miles från marknaden staden Woodbridge som har ett stort utbud av pubar, restauranger och kaféer, liksom floden promenader. Den arkeologiska platsen Sutton Hoo är också på tröskeln. Cirka 30 minuters bilresa till stränder, butiker och restauranger i Southwold och Aldeburgh. Nära till golfbanor, fiskesjöar och populära fågelskådning fläckar, Ufford är perfekt beläget för att kunna utforska Suffolk.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Christina was a a welcoming and brilliant host and it’s clear that a lot of care and attention has gone into the cottage which has everything you’d need but more than that has some great touches to make it extra special. The village is quiet and peaceful with lovely walks and pubs nearby and is situated in an ideal place for visiting lots of sights and experiences of Suffolk. All-in-all, we couldn’t recommend Potts Cottage enough. We’ll certainly be back!

Perfect cottage

Excellent location for Suffolk coast visiting. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Good kitchen facilities. Lovely decor. Beautifully situated near to the village church. Pretty gardens. Highly recommended.

Cosy and tucked away

Potts Cottage sits within the wider Potts Croft property, looking out over a small garden, which in turn is tucked away behind the church in the middle of Ufford.The cottage is cosy and well-appointed - with a well-equipped open kitchen diner, and small but comfortable living room area. The bedroom is well-furnished and quiet, with a modern en-suite. The cottage is set-up to host well-behaved dogs - and our cocker spaniel loved it.It was a perfect base from which to explore the local area - including Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, and Orford. The village is served by two popular pubs - with the White Lion a short 5-minute walk through the church yard.Our host Christina was friendly, helpful, and timely in her communication.We look forward to returning one day, and would happily recommend to others.

Charming property in historic village

The property was perfect for myself, my husband and our cocker spaniel. It was comfortable and cosy with a lovely bed and great shower. Communication with the owner, Christina, was perfect. Everything we could have wanted was available at the property including treats for the dog. We enjoyed visiting some lovely towns and villages in the area. Unfortunately the stormy weather stopped us from going walking as there are many footpaths nearby. We would certainly return to this property.

Visit Sutton Hoo and surronds

This property is ideal for visiting Suffolk and in particular Sutton Hoo. They property is a small village with several local short walks and close to a couple of pubs, also within walking distance that serve good food. The cottage is well maintained and beautifully furnished with all the amenities you could ask for. The accommodation is perfect for 2 people.

Excellent location

The host Christina is super helpful but not at all intrusive which is perfect. She was very helpful before arrival and there was lots of useful information in the property about walks etc. The property itself was very clean and presented to a high standard. A comfortable bed and powerful shower were welcome after days out! We had two small dogs with us too and they were made to feel welcome with outside space etc. Good wifi, smart TV and a well equipped kitchen make this a highly recommended place to stay :-)

So cute I didn’t want to leave

I was in the area for a friend’s wedding and this cottage was a perfect place to relax and get ready before the wedding and to rest after it. It’s very welcoming and I think lovingly kept by the hosts. The furniture is of good quality as are the fixtures and fittings. It was also immaculately clean. Because I spent a lot of time at the wedding I didn’t get to spend much time in the cottage but I really want to return, because it was so nice, and I also didn’t get to explore much of the village or surrounding countryside.

Beautiful and peaceful

The property had everything you needed for a great staycation. It was so peaceful, quiet and clean. Little touches from the host..bottle of wine in the fridge, cookies, were lovely. The bed so comfortable. Located for lots of things to see and do. Would stay here again.

Wanted for nothing

The whole process of renting Potts Cottage was painless. Great communication with Christina ahead of arriving. Pet Friendly Potts Cottage

Our 3rd stay at Potts Cottage, which we found once again to be spotlessly clean and with all the essentials you need even down to cling film and foil. Thank you Christina. This time we enjoyed sitting out in the little patio area for breakfast a real bonus, the bedroom is a good size, shower room has a powerful shower. The kitchen area has been updated with new electrical appliances since our last stay. The Countryside around is beautiful with walks from the door and with a dog friendly pub a 5 minute walk away you can’t go wrong. We were a party of 2 adults and 2 golden retrievers, with a 4 night stay.

Little breakaway

Would recommend this property. It has everything you need and more for an enjoyable stay. The property is well looked after & nicely decorated. Christina the host is very welcoming & helpful and although we didn’t need anything we knew she was there should we require anything. The property is located in a beautiful village close to a church. It’s out of the way just enough to feel like you’re away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life yet close enough for days and evenings out. There are plenty of places to visit locally & shops, restaurants a shortish car ride away. All in all would definitely recommend & would happily stay here again.

Our second visit but equally as good as the first. Cottage is cute and has everything you need. Peaceful area, can just hear the birds and the church bells, but only a few minutes walk to two pubs with good food. Excellent base for discovering the area. Host Christina is really communicative, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Wonderfull Stay at Potts Cottage

The cottage was perfect for my wifes and my 5 night stay. The cottage is very cozy with bunches of character situated in a beautiful and serene setting. The cottage was decorared nicely, ad everything you need for a stay and we enjoyed the artwork. Our host was great; she provided welcoming gifts and also had tea, coffee and milk for us and was very nice to speak with. The location is very peaceful and just a few minutes from shopping, restaurants and you can even walk to a pub within a few minutes. The cottage is a perfect place to stay for exploring Suffolk and beyond. You can also access walking paths right from the cottage to go out and enjoy the countryside. We will definitely stay at Potts Cottage when we next return to the UK.

Perfect all round

The cottage was perfect. Beautiful location and stunning property with everything you could need and more. The thoughtful gifts on arrival were well received as was the fully stocked kitchen. Games and a little lending library in the lounge, as well as blankets, towels and treats for the dogs were a lovely addition. Just simple little touches made this property 5 star. Things such as coffee pods, brand new dish cloth and sponge, tea, coffee, sugar, frying oil, cling film, flashlight, spare wellies etc. made this place a home from home. Often when visiting holiday homes, I have to pop out to get something, but Potts Cottage had everything you could think you might have needed and more. I would 100% return and recommend this lovely cottage to all.

Wonderful Cottage

We arrived at the cottage after a few days on a boat on the Norfolk Broads. Everything at the cottage was faultless. The dog enjoyed her morning jaunt with the rabbits in the nearby churchyard and made friends with the older resident brown lab! Set in lovely surroundings with decent pubs etc nearby. The area is ideal for walkers (which we are not!) we tend to drive to places of interest and unlike Norfolk found a few but some were only available at weekends. Overall a nice relaxing break.

Beautiful cottage and ideal location

The cottage was ideal for our stay, set in a beautiful setting and peaceful village. It was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed several countryside and riverside walks directly from the cottage. Snape, Aldeburgh and the coast are within a short drive.
