Housekeeping was an issue at this property. It was very inconsistent, some days we had no toilet paper, no cups, they didn’t leave an ice bucket bag when they took the existing one. We asked at the front desk upon checking for extra towels (they provided two) and we had four people in the room. We had to call every day for the extra towels. Housekeeping brought items, housecoats and slippers, in two trips and we eventually used translator on our phone for the fella as felt bad that he didn’t know we just needed towels.
Everyday we had to call to the front desk for something housekeeping didn’t leave. Housekeeping even took the housecoats out of the closet that we were using, but didn’t restock new ones…bizarre.
Three days before we checked out of the hotel, the hotel phone system wasn’t working and was going to be out until the day after we left (total of 4 days), so we would have to go down to the lobby and ask for everything.
The day before we left we were gone all day at a Dodgers Game and when we got back to the hotel our room had not been cleaned.
The assistant manager apologized for this but there was nothing that could be done because the cleaners were gone for the day.
I cleaned our room with Lysol wipes and emptied the garbage and bagged up dirty towels and took them to the front desk and got fresh towels.
This has been the worst Marriott experience and I have stayed in a lot of Marriott Hotels. I am a Marriott Bonvoy Member and won’t be back there!
