Review of Courtyard Marriott â Marlborough, MA
I recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Marlborough for four nights, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing Marriott experiences Iâve had.
Upon arrival, I noticed our room didnât have the pull-out couch I specifically booked. Since my husband and I had a king bed, the pull-out was essential for our daughter. I called the front desk and they told me we hadnât booked a room with a pull-out. I explainedâpolitelyâthat I had the confirmation email showing we had. She continued to argue with me, insisting we didnât. I reiterated again that I did, and finally, with a big annoyed sigh, she said, âFine. Did you use anything?â I said no, and she replied, âJust come down and Iâll give you a new room.â The entire exchange made me feel like I was massively inconveniencing her. âą There was no coffee, tea, or water available in the lobbyâI asked and was told they normally have it, but they just didnât. I was there for four days. Never saw it once.
âą Staff at the front desk were generally cold. Only one out of maybe five employees ever said hello. Most would ignore us or give us a side-eye when we walked by. The atmosphere felt unwelcoming.
âą No breakfast included, and no microwave in the room. This made it hard (and expensive) to manage meals, especially with
