âLovely room. Ours was at the top, it was a hot night and heat rises! We did have the windows open but itâs quite a busy road so lots of road noise. The blind also let in a lot of light too and if light sensitive there was a bright green light shinning in the ceiling. Bed very comfortable as were the pillows. Restaurant packed and the food was good. I had the roast and my husband had the mutton curry - huge potions. Staff very helpful and smiley but rushed off their feet. â

Room was immaculate, everything worked, cleaned and replenished with tea/coffee and biscuits, bed made and clean towels, Yes!!! Every day.
The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, couldnât do enough for us, if I wanted anything it was given and more without question.
The location was great for getting into Wroxham and for driving elsewhere.

â Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows. Cleaner needs to look up & dust light fittings. â
âEvery aspect from the staff, to the food, to the added extra of the outdoor pool were fantastic! The hotel is on a busy road, so we thought perhaps the noise would cause an issue but we couldnât hear it from our room. Itâs an absolute little gem and we will happily return.â

âVery nice hotel. Room was spacious and had a nice bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did not use it but the swimming pool looked really nice. Cricket ground is an easy walk away.â
âA lovely little find, perfectly located for a trip on The Broads, or sitting watching the boats and wildlife. Great sized rooms. Excellent choice of breakfast freshly cooked. Enjoyed a couple of evening meals on site. Staff go above a beyond and are icing on the cake at this lovely old hotel. â
âThe Plough is a good class pub with clean, modern rooms. What makes them special is that it's such a friendly place to stay and the pub food is excellent. We were there for five days and I could have done with a few more to work my way through the menu. We'll also certainly miss their breakfasts.
It is situated well for visiting Norwich and the Norfolk Coast.
It's true that you can hear the busy road with the window open, but hey, life's a compromise and we'll happily take that.â
