“We had 2 couples, and we loved the bungalow. It was perfect for the access to the beach, the open floor plan, and access to the rest of the island. We rented a golf cart, which was a fun way to explore Captiva. We also rented bikes with the easy access to the bike trails. We pushed the twin beds together and used it for one of the couples. Great house and location. Very quick communication from the property owner. ”

“This Beach Home Has Been Our Fav So Far, Its Beautiful, Modern, Clean, Has All the Needs! It's a Huge Home with a Huge Pool! We Loved It Every day! The Landscape Also Was Beautiful! We Wished They Had Decked Out the Basement with Game Room Vibes for The Older Children/Younger Adults/Everyone, It's A Huge Unused Space & That Seems Like the Perfect Option. The 3 Bedrooms Facing the Ocean Didn't Have Tv's. It Wasn't a Huge Inconvenience as We Were Hanging with Family Instead but We All Missed...

“We had an incredible time. Details were all there plus what you wouldn’t necessarily expect from a rental property. For example landscaping is gorgeous, dishes are nice, furniture is abundant and nice. Amazing place to stay ”

“Great house, great location (dock in back, beach access across street) and nice pool. This is not a luxury rental so you can feel comfortable with kids stretching out and not being monitored constantly which is nice. Everything you need, close to bars/restaurants. I wish they let renters use kayaks, that was a bummer but all sorts of other beach equipment in good condition and accessible. Management is very responsive and no issues at all with check-in/check-out.”

“We visited Hakuna Matata June 21-28, 2025. There were 6 adults and 5 children in our party. The house was a perfect fit for our family. The location was ideal for us as we brought 2 flats boats and were able to secure them to the dock. The dock has power and water. We did tap in PVC poles to keep the boats off the dock during low tide. The family enjoyed the kayaks in Rooservelt Channel. The beach access is across the street and was a quick walk to the beach.
