“Our high floor King room was beautiful. Spacious, clean and comfortable. The free shuttle is a little confusing to book. I reserved the free shuttle to AND from the hotel about a week in advance. They did not send any kind of confirmation, nor give information on where to meet the shuttle. And when the time had come, they only booked me for shuttle to the airport. Which was unfortunate because Ubers were $50USD for a 5 min drive.”
“Detta Motel ligger i en förort med tät trafik och få sevärdheter. Passar om man kommer med bil. Stora rum med bubbelpool rent och snyggt och bra Wifi. Frukost ingår och är rent Kinesiskt. Inget Västerländsk förrutom ägg och kaffe.”

“Because of some construction works, getting from the train station to the hotel on foot was a bit of an adventure, but once we got there the service was inpeccable and the rooms were great. We even got a packed breakfast since our flight was leaving early. Highly recommend!”

I recently stayed at this hotel during my trip to Taiwan, and I was truly impressed by the outstanding service from the entire team. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a smooth and stress-free stay.
One particular moment that stood out was when I needed help coordinating transportation for the high-speed train. Not only did they assist me with all the details, but one of the front desk staff even walked across to a 7-Eleven to personally...

“Been staying at this hotel since 2015-2023.
Rooms are spacious with good working area for laptop. Fitness area is reasonably good for this kind of hotel. Breakfast area is large with a wide selection of warm and cold dishes, western and Asian. They are however still playing a bit Covid with forcing you to wear plastic gloves…
In overall good location with restaurants, bars and convenient stores nearby.
Also walking distance to the night market.
Will definitely stay here again when I’m back next...

"The hotel is truly a majestic and beautiful building (although dated) and well worth visiting. Be aware of that it is a tourist attraction and can be very crowded and noisy in the lobby. During our trip (weekend), an army of young girls in princess dresses wrecked havoc in the lobby. It was less than ideal for enjoying a romantic treat in the lobby cafe and the staff were very busy. Not much time for giving us service or attention, which caused an initially disappointed impression. I would say that the lobby cafe is overpriced in regards to the level of service and mediocre quality of food & drink. The interior design is beautiful and we appreciated the white tablecloth and all, but the noisy stressful environment was a let down. We asked a waitress if there was some special event but she said that it's always like that. Seems like kids and tour busses full of backwater mainland Chinese villagers from all over arrive and spend some time in the facility. Forget any notion of dresscode and expect cheap behaviour like blasting cell phone speaker noise in public..
We had dinner in the golden dragon restaurant. A quite nice experience with a good view of downtown Taipei. The service style was a bit different from western restaurants. If you wanted to order, you really had to grab the attention of the staff. Very good food!
I don't recommend the breakfast. A lot of choices, but most of it low quality."
