It is a coastal village that is a pole of domestic and international tourism. In addition, the village is about 1 km away. before Xylokastro and borders with Kiato and Xylokastro.
Endowed with a large pebbly beach which has been awarded the Blue Flag and a unique seaside pine forest of about 3 km, it has been for many decades the "anchorage" of people seeking tranquility and inspiration.
