“Staff is very nice. Room was clean. Good shower pressure. Comfortable bed and pillows. Ask for a room on the opposite side of the building from the road. My room was on the street side and very noisy. Breakfast was kind of dissapointing. No hot choices. Bagels only no regular bread. Overall satisfied with my stay.”

“It was a very clean hotel, but I did not have a chair in my room and asked for one and never received it and it’s odd that they make you pay for breakfast”

“The rooms were very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was great. My only complaint would be the elevators. There were 2 but only one was working. It was very slow. We were there for a soccer tournament in the area so there were a lot of kids & families staying there. One elevator was not sufficient.”

“Good location to where we needed to be for the weekend. Check-in process was quick, and pool looked pretty BUT hotel is completely outdated, strange smell from the minute you entered the building, no one at desk to answer questions. We bought an air freshener for our room. I heard multiple guest mention their air was out. Stains all over carpet in rooms, and halls. Bring your own laundry soap if you’re there for sports. Our lights flickered most of the stay. Super disappointed with what we paid...

“For the price, the hotel isn’t terrible, but could definitely use some upgrading and maintenance. The elevator moved very slowly and was loud like it was struggling. The A/C in my room was very loud and barely blowing, and the ceilings in my room were cracked all the way around and down the middle. Property was clean overall, but definitely needs some work.”

“Room had a bit of a smell. Like covering smoke or pet odors. Door was very stuck and lock mechanism worked most of the time. Breakfast only had 1 attendant and could not keep up. Very little food was out. Will not stay here again. Not terrible, but not up to par.”

“Amazing B&B! We came from Sweden for a roadtrip and found this place, and we really loved it. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly 🙏 We stayed in one of the cottage, and the views were one of the most beautiful places we’ve seen. And right in the middle of the Amish community! So that was really a unique and fun experience, 10/10!”

“This disgusting dirty hotel (can't really call it that!) is a disgrace! Looks like the rugs haven't been cleaned in years! No plastic cups in the bathroom to use and when asking the clerk at the desk he couldn't find any anywhere! The idea of a light breakfast is a joke! The soda machine takes your money but didn't dispense any soda! Called a studio with a kitchen, but no plates, silverware, pots or pans or anything to use or cook with! I would never recommend this place to anyone!”

Prior to the arrival date we received 3 messages from The Inn at Whitewing Farm welcoming us and letting us know of all amenities and the fees associated with them nothing else. “The Bookhouse is a wonderful concept! Prioritizing books, making them accessible everywhere, is delightful. There were adventurous and playful touches, including the secret hide-away on the first floor, behind a bookcase. Housing a hotel in a very old house is another terrific choice. The restoration process is clearly in progress; it's understandable that it's a long-term project. Drawbacks were largely fixable.
