“I wish I could give this stay more than five stars! The owner and his wife went out of their way to make sure my every need was taken care of. Be aware there are two ferries from Ishigaki, and only one has a shuttle to the hotel. If you’re going to rent a car book it early, but the island is very doable without a car as long as you go with the flow. The hotel is close to the river ferry which takes you to waterfall hike. “Neat hotel in Ishigaki that is close to the beach. The rooms are very clean and tidy, but feel quite sterile. We stayed here for a couple of nights after having been in Iriomote. The beach close to this hotel is nice to have, but it doesn't compare to the other beaches around Ishigaki or on the neighboring islands.
