Great staff suffering at a really bad hotel
The staff were amazing and very helpful. The conditions under which they labor are no fault of their own Everyone from the concierge or bellhop to the manager were great. However, this hotel suffers from extreme neglect the ceiling was leaking in multiple rooms a rat had died by the front entrance. And although the hotel apparently was constructed in 2016, it was more a kin to a worn out beach resort hotel from Myrtle Beach or Daytona Beach or maybe Blackpool in England pieces of the rooms are actually falling apart as well as various portions in the lobby this is a deeply troubling situation for Novotel in this location, I have stayed at many others and this is a really bad example of a fine hotel chain. Corporate needs to invest in this location that said, apparently this is the best hotel in Yanbu.

Horrible Experience
It was one of the horrible stays at the Novotel. It was mentioned as a Double bed + sofa bed in booking but to my surprise, it was just a small sofa in my room. When I enquired about the same with the reception they rudely replied saying that to confirm with Hotel.com as they don't have any room with Sofabed option. Secondly, the furniture was dirty, I had to call housekeeping staff to change the menu cards which had fresh ice cream stains. I tried to contact Hotel.com to complain but the number was very busy when I selected the callback option and received a call at 3 AM when I was deep asleep. Overall bad experience.

Quiet, comfortable, enjoyable seaside retreat.
Novotel Yanbu is across the road from a seaside park and the Corniche. So, a great location for walking. For those who like adventure, keep going and you will find the North Corniche. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room service was good and fairly quick. There is a great pool and a gym to enjoy. The downstairs lobby has a large area for sitting and reading, drinking coffee etc, with many areas spreading over partitioned sections where you can find a quiet corner. So many friendly staff- in the restaurant special thanks to Jayvee looked after me, and whipped up delicios banana smoothies and banana and date smoothies for me. Also thanks to Monjid who cheerfully delivered room service many times. If you like a quiet tranquil holiday, I recommend the location and ambience of the Yanbu Novotel.

Relaxing stay
Excellent location at Yanbu Corniche. Clean rooms, however some maintenance issues - like bathroom lights and bed headrest lights were not working. Breakfast was served in the room in view of the Covid situation. The breakfast was good but over the days there was no variety and excessive use of disposable plastic containers - not good for the environment! Overall excellent relaxing stay.

Reasonable choice
It was a reasonable hotel for the money. Nothing special. Clean, good location with Cornish across the street. Stores, fast food restaurants close by. Limited parking space though.

Avoid this hotel in Yanbu. Not Novotel standard.
Bed sheets were not clean. They were not changed when I got to the room! I have not seen this for a long time... Not what you expect from a Novotel. As i checked in after 1am, I did not bother getting them changed the first night. too tired to care by that point. The second night I asked them to be changed at ~8pm, at the reception. I insisted for this to happen within 1 hour as I had to get up early the next day and wanted an early night... At about 11pm someone finally knocked on the door and woke me up. I was already in bed as I had only 4-5 hours sleep the night before. I had to shout about 4 times for the person to stop knocking on the door... And of course the 'do not disturb' sign I left on the door handle outside was ignored. When I checked in, there was no one at reception or in the lobby? I had to wait 20min for someone to turn up. it was about 1am in the morning and I was really tired after several flights... No one around at all was strange and a sign of things to come... Airco in the room was very noisy, hotel is old and not in a good state. Breakfast was poor too.
