Nestled in the heart of Joshua Tree, California, our enchanting 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom vacation rental homestead is a haven of charm and romance. Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the desert landscape, this cozy retreat offers not only stunning views but also a warm and intimate atmosphere. The interior exudes a romantic ambiance, with carefully curated decor, soft lighting, and thoughtful details that create a sense of tranquility.

The primary bedroom, adorned with desert-inspired accents, provides a comfortable and inviting space to unwind. The second bedroom with a twin bed and trundle. Step outside to a private patio where you can bask in the beauty of the Joshua Tree scenery under the starlit sky. Whether you're stargazing from the comfort of the outdoor seating or enjoying the cozy interior, this homestead promises a captivating and romantic escape, where every moment is infused with the tranquility of the desert.

A beautiful cozy place that had everything we needed. Perfect for stargazing . Beautiful views sunrise and sunset. We loved it so much we didnt want to leave . We will be back.

This trip was the first experience I’ve had of a big gap between what I expected and what I found when I arrived: the enclosed patio looks lovely in the photos, but it was overrun with weeds, and the furniture looked the worse for wear. There’s only one light source in the main living room area—a ceiling fan with three bulbs, only one of which worked. The AC is provided by wall-mounted units. Luckily the weather was pretty mild, but when I tried the unit in the larger bedroom all I got was warm air, and the remote didn’t seem to be working. The photographs of the location are very deceptive, it’s nowhere near as isolated as it appears (it’s quite close to a busy two-lane road). For me the biggest letdown was the bathroom. The jets on the jacuzzi bath had clearly not been cleaned in a while, and even after I tried to get them clean myself, when I filled the tub and turned it on there was still a bunch of fine debris everywhere, rendering it pretty unusable. I also went to Target and replaced the discolored, molded shower curtain liner myself. I decided to go ahead and stay at the property because this was a vacation from a very stressful job, and I didn’t want to bother with the hassle of dealing with the property manager or Vrbo—the best option would’ve been to move and I simply didn’t have the energy. The property is fine place to stay if you’re planning on doing a lot of other things, but if you’re planning to stay in for long stretches you might want to keep looking.
I forgot to photograph the tub before I cleaned it but the jets all had this same orange-ish color.

Loved the glass door in the bedroom facing the sunrise. The kitchen was well stocked and the jetted tub was relaxing. The aesthetic is beautiful. Very glad I stayed here.

If you want to get out of the city and enjoy some peace and quiet, this place is for you. Super quiet, clean, lots of aesthetics, and lots of seating and settings to enjoy. The views were amazing with the desert wash in the back and mountains in the front. Place was clean, up to date on technology, and checking in, rules, and checking out was made simple and a breeze.

Sweet and Cozy

We loved the coziness and considerate amenities throughout the home. More than enough towels for the stay, all the kitchenette essentials, complete set of Friends DVD, bug zapper. The AC worked really well and it was very thoughtful for the place to be already AC-ed when we arrived in this 100deg weather. Thank you for the cute and cozy stay!
