Guest Access:

Guests have full private access to the home and 2.5-acre property. Only one small storage closet under the stairwell is locked for our staff's use

Mesa Horizon House sits in a quiet, elevated pocket that offers both complete privacy and quick access to the desert's most iconic spots.

Getting Around:

While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.



Other Things to Note:

◎ POOL AND HOT TUB HEATING:

Your rental includes heating for the in-ground pool from May-September. The hot tub is always free to heat. However, during the cooler months, there are extra charges for pool heating, see below. If you want the pool heated during these months, please let us know 48 hours before you arrive.

◎ Extra Charges for Pool Heating:

✓ May and Sept: $150 per night

✓ October and April: $200 per night

✓ November, December, March: $300 per night

✓ January and February: $300 per night

✓ Please request 48 hours in advance.



No jumping, diving, running or rough play near the pool and hot tub area. No glass can be around the pool and hot tub, there are plastic cups in the kitchen to be used outside. Please mind the quiet hours (no loud noises after 10pm). No intoxicated persons may use the pool or hot tub. NO LIFEGUARD WILL BE ON DUTY - YOU SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.



◎ SOCIAL MEDIA: If you plan on sharing your experience on social media, please mention us!



◎ CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.



◎ ROAD CONDITIONS: Many roads are dirt, so please take it slow. A four wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain



◎ PARKING: One space in the garage + ample outdoor parking.



◎ HOT TUB: Hot tub available daily 4 PM–12 AM (up to 8 hrs).



◎ DOGS: Your dog is welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Please alert us in advance.



◎ SECURITY: Exterior cameras at driveway entrances only.



◎ EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.



◎ WILDLIFE: The desert is home to coyotes, roadrunners, bobcats, lizards, and more. Doors left open may invite small creatures inside. Please keep food and trash secured.
