Lovely Bed and Breakfast
The B&B was in a great location in sun moon lake. The owner and her family were very friendly and helpful and gave excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was great. The owner also accommodated our personal request. If you are in the area I 100 percent recommend this hotel. Thanks for the stay

2 days at Laurel Villa.
The owner was really friendly and nice. The place had a nice soothing decor. Would definitley stay here again. Location was right by the pier so was really convenient.

Nicely refreshed property with great amenities. Good entertainment options and the room Was spacious and clean. Nice homey morning breakfast made you feel welcome. Staff is friendly, though operating more like a Bed and Breakfast hours of service are limited. Would stay again.

Greeted by very friendly owner who checked us in and gave us ideas how to navigate around etc. It is so near the pier and within very near walking distance to 7-11 etc. The room was spanking clean, with modern design and was in good condition. There was breakfast provided for as well which gave us the local vibes cooking style, was wholesome and started our day well. Its a little gem with limited rooms but worth staying surely and if we do head back to sun moon lake, we'd love to stay here again.

조용한 분위기,깔끔한 룸 컨디션, 친절한 서비스 등 정말 좋았어요. 조식 음식 종류는 많지 않아도 필요한 음식만 정성스럽게 준비된 모습. 다만 오후 6시 이후에는 직원이 없어요. 그부분을 제가 알지 못하고 늦게 도착했더니 아무도 없고 문도 잠겨 있어서 난감 했어요. 나중애 보니 메일로 연락이 왔었는데 제가 못봤드라구요- 이부분만 빼면 좋았습니다. 여자 사장님 너무 친절하세요!

worth to try
we enjoyed this modern up to date stylish decorated and clean boutique. the owner Mr & mrs Wong are very friendly and helpful, so as the other staffs. Good breakfast and had enough choices. the only inconvenience - check in or check out before 6pm. have 2 choices of pillows which still not suitable for us- bit too high/firm.

民宿位置很方便，旁邊就是水社碼頭。房間十分整潔，而且職員十分親切會介紹周邊的景點，早餐也非常好吃。 民宿提供的清晨單車團是很難忘的體驗！不單可以欣賞日月潭的日出，還能沿途欣賞日月潭向山段的風景和其他景點。老闆還很用心介紹日月潭的歷史和地理資訊，十分推薦入住這間民宿！

Facilities in the room are not designed to maximise hotel guests comfort. Eg bathtub is used as shower cubicle. Hotel guests have to climb down from floor to bottom of bathtub (a steep descend) to enter shower, which is definitely dangerous for elderly guests. Sink is located outside bathroom, and guests have to exit bathroom to wash their hands. But there is no where to hang a towel at the sink and so guests have to return to bathroom to wipe their hands after washing. There is no electricity plug inside bathroom, neither can we find one at the sink. So if you want to use the hairdryer, you must use the plug near the bed, so when you blow dry your hair, you do so without a mirror. These are just some examples. There are more inconvenient features. The only thing good about the property was the view from the room.

地點位於鬧中取靜的水社碼頭，客房與整體環境乾淨整潔，早餐很用心又美味，早晨的遊湖活動非常值得，看美景又能夠更加了解日月潭，完全能感受到老闆對於這片土地的熱情。 十分滿分的推薦！下次絕對會再訪！

We loved staying at Laurel Villa and would choose it again. It is decorated beautifully. The lady who checked us in helped us find the Giant bicycle rental place (a very short walk) so we could bike around the lake. She also told us about a vegetarian restaurant on her same street, where we had a wonderful dinner. Our room was small, but very cleverly laid out and decorated, so we felt spoiled! Breakfast the next morning was a typical Taiwanese breakfast with several vegetables and fruit options (plus congee) for us.

A beautiful well run B&B. Really lovely rooms, some say are small but we found plenty big enough for short stay around the lake. Would definitely come back.
