Yuma for Work
The home and property are very nice, clean and well maintained. A colleague and I stayed here for a week, then another colleague replaced me for the second week. During the first week, all was well but during the second week there were multiple times that we were locked out of the thermostat and it was set to mid 70s for the evening. We're working professionals who literally are only on premises to cook dinner and sleep but the second week sleeping was just uncomfortable. When we asked the owner to lower the temp on the thermostat, they did so but only halfway to what we desired and only for two hours. We are from NY so we like to sleep in a bit cooler temperature. I'm not sure if this was of the owner's doing or if it was due to them having just installed a Nest and getting it connected to the wifi for week #2 but I would highly recommend they get this sorted out for the next guest.

A great week away
We were in the area to take a parent to see friends and family. The house was more than anticipated and had everything required. We were so at home, enjoyed the hot tub on a regular basis ( so nice) as well as the imaculate pool. Patio was great and the owners were very attentive. We will definitely return if in the area again!

Adventures in Yuma
The Yuma area is beautiful! There's a lot to do down town and we found several great hiking trails along the Colorado river and in the mountain. This home was located perfectly between downtown Yuma and the foothills of a nearby mountain range. The property was ver nuce and clean, beds were comfortable and the pool and spa were nice after a long day down town or in the mountsins. The property owner is a pleasure to work with! I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Nice, Quiet location
Very nice place to stay - plenty of room and had everything you needed for a vacation. Near grocery store and easy to get to main freeways. Owners were very quick to answer any questions. Would definitely stay there again!

Pure serenity
The property is absolutely gorgeous. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and serene!! All the amenities and then some. Marybeth was sensational and very accommodating!! The backyard, pool and hot tub are simply amazing! We had a marvelous time!! Thank you so much!!

The house was perfect. We stayed in July, it was beyond hot, but the beautiful pool solved that problem. The house itself was clean, spacious and had everything you could need. Thank you and would highly recommend!!!!

Nice home

“Vacation from hell” (words the owner used)
This property borders the sewage treatment plant. The smell is unbearable. We rarely got to use the backyard because of the stench. There were times the smell would even permeate the inside of the house and make it hard to sleep. The smell is so strong it will burn your eyes. This has been an issue in the neighborhood for decades (according to the new owners of the treatment plant). This should have been disclosed to us prior to booking and prior to our trip. We would have left within the first few days, but we had already paid in advance (non-refundable) and we had family flying in to visit. Also, the owner controls the jacuzzi remotely so you have to ask to have it turned on. The owner also asked us to park in the street for four days so they could get their ATV’s in and out of the garage. The owner offered us 3-free nights in the future, but we don’t want to stay there again. We were refunded the equivalent of 3-nights. This property is twice the price of non-pool / jacuzzi properties. The pool and jacuzzi aren’t useful if they can’t be enjoyed because of the sewer.

We were quite shocked to receive a text threatening to blackmail us, If we didn’t give them money back or they would write a bad review. We offered 3 nights back. And they wrote a terrible review. I do my best to ensure our guests enjoy Their stay. We chat once they arrive, and we are always available if needed. These guests stayed for 30 nights not once did they ask to leave or have money refunded. We were always in contact, there may have been some kind of malfunction at the plant. When my other guests were there for Jan/Feb no complaints. I went to the property in April, again no smell. They had us turn on the jacuzzi every night, we had it on a timer. IF they couldn’t use it would have been respectful for them to have us turn it off, It can be very expensive to heat every night, and we didn’t charge extra. We never exchanged any uncomfortable words, until they tried to Blackmail me. I asked if my husband could have access to the garage, sure no problem. Yes he has his Rzr, but most of his time there he was working on the house. The stove/oven broke, so he spent a day finding one and getting it installed. Seems there was a leak at the jacuzzi, the pool company couldn’t fix it for over a week, I know how much they enjoyed the jacuzzi, so my husband stayed an extra night to repair, and had to pay for a hotel. They were very nice to my husband and were sitting by the pool enjoying the day. We have rented our home for over, 13 yrs and have many return guests. This home was beautiful but the managing of the property could be better. It has everything you want in a great location. However, The smell from the water treatment is less than desirable and it leaves an egg smell in the home. The storm door was shattered when we arrived, the host did let us know but it was not fully cleaned and pieces of glass were still left behind. The home was clean but used food was left in the refrigerator and dirty linens in the hamper. The listing advertised a hot tub, however it is controlled remotely by the owner, who when I called said it was off line. The AC is also controlled remotely and sleeping at night tended to run on the hot side.

I am sorry if the treatment plant had some smell...it sometimes happens which is out of our control. It is not just our home it is in the neighborhood. You only called once for the hot tub would have been happy to turn it on,never heard from you again. I always check in with our guests and let them know if there are any challenges to CALL ME and it will be taken care of. I will be talking with housekeeping to be sure we don't have challenges in the future.

Fantastic stay!
We so enjoyed our stay,! August is very hot in Yuma and the pool made it so comfortable and inviting. Was able to see my family who lives there and had the comforts of our own home. Very well appointed thank you! Would rent again hopefully on our return to Hawaii!

Warm Paradise
While we had to shorten our stay by three weeks due to the COVID19 pandemic, the two weeks we were able to stay were perfect! Mary Beth and Dave were very gracious hosts and made sure their property had everything we needed. Everything, including Fry’s, Walmart, etc was very close to the house and easily accessible. The house and particularly the beautiful backyard with pool and spa were perfect for our needs. Again it’s unfortunate that we had to cut short our stay, however we can’t wait to be able to visit this amazing property again! Many thanks again to Mary Beth and Dave! Top notch! Lovely home away from home
Mary Beth was great to communicate with and planning our stay was seamless. The house had everything we might might need - lots of extra thoughtful amenities. The only thing we couldn't get was many sports stations on TV. My Dad loves to watch sports and that was limited (not really any options for watching college or professional basketball). Other than that, beds were comfy, the home was well appointed and the weather even cooperated :) It was a great week in Yuma!

Comfortable and convenient
This is the third time we have rented this VRBO. It is very comfortable, lots of space, convenient location and great backyard. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds are comfortable and the floor layout is great for families, couples or just two people.

Home away from home!
House has everything you will need! Kitchen is fully equipped, outdoor bbq, great backyard with large table, comfy chairs and lounge chairs for sunning. Pool is beautiful and Jacuzzi a great way to start or end the day. House is located very conveniently to grocery shopping and only a 20 minute drive to the Quechan Casino and Algodones border crossing. Quiet neighborhood.

Spacious, comfortable oasis in the desert!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The salt water pool is definitely a highlight, especially on those hot summer days. Well stocked house with plenty of towels. Deluxe master bedroom and bath, large tv/family room make it a great place for a relaxed visit. Close enough to Yuma/Mexico to drive in daily but also far enough away to enjoy starlit nights. Food/restaurants available nearby with some that deliver, try Bernardo's Pizza (no delivery but worth the trip) for cheesesteak sandwiches and Stromboli. Owners are very easy to work with. MaryBeth was easily reachable and very nice to interact with. We hope to be back in the future.

Relaxing and quiet vacation
Home is well equipped. Master bedroom was a retreat with comfortable bed. Loved having our own private pool. The only negatives was the debre the wind blew into the pool from the neighbors tree and occasional smell from sewage treatment plant in back of home. Homeowners were very helpful making sure we were happy with our stay. The negative issues were not in their control.

Good experience- it was all we hoped for and more!
We met to spend a mini-vacation together as a family. We had a lovely time in such comfortable and beautiful surroundings. The home was well furnished and even stocked with condiments. The owner was very pleasant and easily accessed. We made an excellent choice, will definitely recommend it!
