This is such a remarkable (and beautiful) chateau, steeped in history, and it is very well set up for family or friends’ groups with all the lovely bedrooms being en-suite. As keen cooks, we were very happy with the kitchen and different dining arrangements, and Arnaud could not have been more helpful in accommodating a couple of special requests. The staff were also charming and super helpful. We would love to come back some time, and have already recommended to family and friends. Thank you, Arnaud and your team.

We loved Chateau Servigny it was a magical place set in beautifully maintained grounds. The chateau was fantastic with very comfortable bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms, the living spaces were comfortable and there are multiple living rooms so our group could spread out. There are both indoor and outdoor dining options. Arnaud was a very attentive host and answered our questions quickly, and helped us find a guide for the D-Day beaches, and also a chef to cook for us. The housekeeper and groundskeeper were really friendly. The pool and tennis court are wonderful. We also enjoyed walking through the well maintained trails through the woods. Valonges is close by and has a good supermarket and multiple bakeries. The D-Day sites are all within easy reach. We can't say enough good things about our experience here.

Wonderful week in the countryside of France. The Chateau is great! So much to do for the family. The kids and adults were always in the game room , at the pool , playing tennis , riding bikes around the property, or just out for a walk.on the grounds of the property. Just a beautiful place full of history, and the staff was very warm and welcoming.

We were a party of twelve, five of whom were children ranging in age between eight and three. It was a special weeks holiday to celebrate a milestone birthday. I can honestly say we couldn’t have wished for a better venue. The chateau was amazing so much space to enjoy, the outside facilities were outstanding, a beautiful heated pool, a spectacular games room meant wet weather did not spoil our stay. The staff were so helpful, many thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

This is a great place to enjoy while visiting the Normandy area. The property is so inviting and everyone was very satisfied with the space and loved the indoor and the outdoor space. It is tricky to find if you arrive at night, but once you find the turn it is an easy. Super markets are close by. I would recommend to book reservations for nearby restaurants because they are small and usually booked. No negatives for the property though, just would have prepared better for dining out.

We really enjoyed our stay at the historic castle in Servigny. The house is clean and tastefully decorated and the garden spectacular, so well designed and taken care off. We all enjoyed the swimming pool and tennis court as we did the large bbq and the seats outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All in all we had one of our best holidays ever!

I’ve chosen this property for the wedding. It really exceeded my expectations and all the guests were impressed It is really a big 500 years old chateau with fully equipped with furniture from the past times in a good shape. Three generations met up for a weeks holiday. The children aged between 5 and 7 loved it especially the pool, and exploring the grounds on their own bikes. There are a selection of bikes for adults and teenagers provided by the owner. House was very clean and games room has good quality equipment, much enjoyed by the adults. We had two meals cooked for us which worked very well and all prepared on time. Kitchen is well equipped for catering for large numbers and the large table outdoors was used most evenings for dining. An ideal place for family groups as there is so much to do on site.

I will write in English and in French, Canadian two official languages et je suis du QuĂ©bec...et nous Ă©tions chez-nous en Normandie d'oĂč nos ancĂȘtres sont venus. There was even a street in Normandy, called Dumas, my husband's name. C'est l'Ăąme (l'esprit de bienveillance) de ce chĂąteau restaurĂ© et de ses jardins et ses modernitĂ©s (tennis, piscine) qui nous a le plus touchĂ©s. Rien n'avait Ă©tĂ© bĂąclĂ©. MĂȘme la cuisiniĂšre ultra moderne y Ă©tait, choisie tant pour son efficacitĂ© que pour son "look", Il y a chĂąteau et le chĂąteau de Servigny. Un souvenir prĂ©cieux de notre vie familiale. C'est dans ce contexte que j'ai invitĂ© mon mari, mes 3 enfants, leurs conjoints, et leurs six enfants ĂągĂ©s de 20 Ă  13 ans dans ce chĂąteau de rĂȘve. Tous se demandaient si ce sĂ©jour allait se rĂ©aliser puisque j'avais rĂ©servĂ© en novembre 2019 et que ce n'est qu'en juin 2022 que nous nous y sommes retrouvĂ©s. I had 2 grand sons who wished to visit Normandy for the dĂ©barquement. All of us became insightful of that event. We have visited the 4 main beaches, Juno, Omaha, Utah, la point du Hoc, American Cemetery, and many other places including le Mont St-Michel. So many exquisite places to visit! We learnt that the Normandy liberation "agreement" was signed at the ChĂąteau Servigny between General "Ligting Joe" Lawton Collins (American) and General von Schlieben (German) in July 1944. We could visit this room while at the ChĂąteau. Bref, visiter la Normandie en famille pendant une semaine, Ă  partir du ChĂąteau Servigny et nous rappeler ces faits de la deuxiĂšme guerre tout en nous retrouvant dans ce lieu de paix Ă  chaque jour, avoir accĂšs Ă  toutes les commoditĂ©s, pouvoir compter sur l'aide, du duo alternatif, Christelle et CĂ©line, recommandĂ© par le compte pour les repas du soir, sera Ă  jamais gravĂ© dans notre mĂ©moire familiale. A wonderful experience for all in the family. Bikes for adults and kids. Beautiful swimming pool, and grounds for evening and early morning walks. Very comfortable rooms with nice kitchen and dining facilities. Staff was exceptional as we hired Celine to supply our group with 2 meals. Very reasonable and nice to have a homemade meal after long days of exploring this wonderful countryside. We are already talking about our next trip to Normandy and another stay at the ChĂąteau.

From the moment you drive through the gate onto this enchanted chñteau, you are completely taken back in time; words cannot describe how beautiful and unique this property is from the inside out and how wonderful the owners and their staff are to each family that comes to visit and stay in there a Beautiful historical estate. They went above and beyond to make my birthday an extra special event my only regret is that I couldn't stay longer. I would suggest at least a week to really get to enjoy all that this beautiful chñteau has to offer, Not to mention all the excursions nearby you could enjoy while you’re staying there. Nous avons beaucoup apprĂ©ciĂ© notre sĂ©jour au chĂąteau de Servigny. Tout Ă©tait en parfait adĂ©quation avec la description de l'annonce: un vrai saut dans l'Histoire mais avec tout le confort moderne. Pouvoir visiter la salle de l'Ă©dition de Cherbourg a Ă©tĂ© une vrai surprise, hautement apprĂ©ciĂ©e. Le fait d'avoir une salle de bain pour chaque chambre et une grande cuisine, parfaitement Ă©quipĂ©e est un vrai plus quand vous ĂȘtes nombreux (surtout quand les invitĂ©s vont de 10 Ă  90 ans!). Le chĂąteau est en parfait Ă©tat, le parc juste fantastique et le matĂ©riel sportif (terrain de tennis, table de ping-pong, vĂ©lo) en trĂšs bon Ă©tat. L'hĂŽte est trĂšs rĂ©actif, disponible et professionnel. En bref, nous recommandons vivement cette adresse. Encore merci Ă  Françoise pour sa disponibilitĂ©.

We had a fantastic experience at the chateau, and were in awe of being in a place with so much history! We are so very grateful for Arnaud and his family enabling us to stay at their chateau! Our only regret is that we, having booked tours (thanks Arnaud's help for recommendation on tours and preparing for our trip) of the landing beaches etc., did not reserve more time to hang out at home at the Chateau as between the heated pool, the bikes, tennis, ping-pong, and exploring the park, there really were enough activities there to keep everyone entertained for the full week (without going anywhere else). The chateau has everything you need to feel at home. Arnaud, the host and Francoise, the housekeeper, were also extremely responsive and really made us feel welcome! We can strongly recommend staying at this Chateau!

The lovely Chateau de Servigny suited our family in wonderful style during our visit to the Normandy WW2 landing sights. The historic property is very well cared for and very inviting. Up-to-date amenities are a wonderful addition in such an important and ancient building. The heated pool is a +++. The location is just a short ride to the highway making for easy access to distant sight-seeing locations. The local town of Valognes has every service and shop necessary. The Chateau met, and surpassed our expectations!

Is it possible to give 10 stars? We had high expectations for this chateau, and it exceeded all of them. The property is steeped in fascinating history, our hosts were warm, inviting, and responsive, and the grounds and chateau were both sprawling and gorgeous. The pictures do not do this property justice. We particularly appreciated the bikes that were available for the kids to use and the pool (which was heated to the perfect temperature for the July weather), but all of the thoughtful touches around the property were amazing, from the fully-stocked kids' playhouse to the board games in the library to the historical information in the bedrooms. It was fantastic to have Ms. Celine available to make delicious four-course meals and babysit the kids. Ms. Francoise would tiptoe around every morning, slipping in to make beds and coffee. This is by far the best home rental experience we've ever had. The only downside (which some would say is not a downside) is that the WiFi signal was not strong (and cellular signals could not penetrate the stone castle walls), so it was difficult to stay connected for work. But every member of our group (four adults and six children, ages 6 to 13) had an unequivocally fabulous time. This chateau and all the people associated with it are simply gems. We will definitely be back.

Si vos envies de dĂ©couverte vous mĂšnent hors des sentiers battus du tourisme, mais lĂ  oĂč l'Histoire s'est jouĂ©e, Servigny est un lieu qui vous ravira. Une demeure magnifique, oĂč se marient harmonieusement les tĂ©moignages d'une histoire familiale et le souci du confort. La maison est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e pour accueillir une quinzaine de personnes et pour que chacun s'y sente Ă  l'aise. Le parc est superbe. Et Yvetot Bocage est un point central qui permet de visiter aisĂ©ment le Cotentin dans toute sa diversitĂ©. Nous recommandons sans hĂ©sitation le chĂąteau de Servigny, et espĂ©rons revenir bientĂŽt pour profiter du calme et de la grandeur des lieux. Merci Ă  la famille de Pontac pour l'amour et la passion avec laquelle elle fait vivre cette maison (et bravo pour l'initiative du "jardin de la Paix"), et merci Ă  Françoise pour sa gentillesse et sa prĂ©sence discrĂšte et efficace. I stayed at Servigny for a week with a group of 12 women. We went with high expectations. Our experiences exceeded our expectations. The Chateau is beautiful. The entire place is welcoming, elegant and comfortable. The grounds were far more expansive then we had envisioned, and we so enjoyed exploring! Servigny was a perfect base from which to take in the wonders of Normandy, but it is important to allow plenty of time to soak in all that the Chateau de Servigny offers.
