Kanonhotell på Zanzibar
Ett mkt bra hotell beläget direkt på stranden. Personalen var fantastisk, otroligt hjälpsam och trevlig. Hotellet kan definitivt rekommenderas. Vi bodde i bungalows på stranden vilket också rekommenderas starkt. Bra att veta är att det är mkt långgrunt och under lågvatten är det riktigt långt till "havet".

Bra mat, men kan tycka att det borde finnas en restaurang även på stranden(som ingår i all inklusive). Vi bodde i bungalow vid stranden. Istället för stolar på terassen något att ligga på. Eller varför inte både stolar och något att ligga på. Som helhet va hotellet bra. ligger vid stranden.

Toppenbra, förutom ett par missar
Poolen och området däromkring skulle må bra av en upprustning. AC i vårt rum var extremt högljudd, vilket gjorde det svårt att sova första natten. Till andra natten blev det reparerat, men tredje natten var oljudet tillbaka, vilket betyder att vi fick störd sömn två av tre nätter. Service, mat drinkar och allt annat var av hög klass.

Lugnt och bra hotell! Underbar mat!
Sandies var toppen! Lugnt, avslappnande hotell med fantastisk restaurang. Det enda negativa var att det var så mycket tidvatten att det nästan var omöjligt att bada i havet. Men det är nog så längs hela kusten. Poolen var toppen så det var bra ändå! Rekommenderas varmt om man vill slappa och återhämta sig i några dagar. Vi var här 3 nätter och det var perfekt!

Ett fantastiskt hotell med otroligt trevlig och hjälpsam personal! Det fick vi framförallt erfara när det strulade med flygbiljetten vi bokat på nätet. Då fick vi fantastisk hjälp av ledningen på hotellet! Otroligt proffsigt och vänligt bemötande! Maten var också fantastisk vilket jag av erfarenhet vet inte är fallet på alla all inclusive hotell. Är själv en van restaurangbesökare med en kock som sambo så är väldigt kräsen. Blev mycket positivt överraskad och åt alldeles för mycket dessa dagar :) perfekt för smekmånad och de som vill komma bort och ta det lugnt i paradiset!

Underbart!
Efter fantastisk safari i Tanzania med många tidiga mornar och långa bildagar, fick vi (familj med två tonårsbarn) en vecka på Mapenzi Beach som var toppen. Hotellet har en väldigt charmig atmosfär och jag kan varmt rekommendera det till andra. All-inclusive bufféerna var goda, fräscha och varierade varje dag.Vårt rum var beach-front och det var precis lika bra som vi hoppats.

Das Hotel ist perfekt. Unglaublich freundliche Mitarbeiter, fantastisch schön, man bekommt Wünsche von den Lippen abgelesen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, abwechslungsreich und in sehr guter Qualität. Das Unterhaltungsprogramm haben wir nicht mit gemacht sah aber gut gemacht aus und war nicht aufdringlich. Für uns war er ein Urlaub im Paradies.

We had an amazing time at Diamonds Resort!!! We stayed for week and enjoyed every aspect of the resort. The reception staff including Ally were accommodating to all of our needs and questions. The food was outstanding Marwa, Victor and Abbas made sure all the food and drinks were top notch! Our boys loved all the food options and drinks!! The pool was our family favorite place! Rasheed did an amazing job with making sure we had towels and chairs for our pool time. All the bar staff and wait staff were accommodating! We will be back for sure!!! Thank you to everyone who helped us and made us feel like family while we were there! See you next time!!

It’s far away from the loud streets of Stone Town and the crowded, popular beaches. Tucked away is this quaint resort that has a pool, seaside bungalows, and 2 restaurants. The buffet was great every day with many varied foods. The girl is on the east side and not too far a drive to mist day trip destinations. The staff were very friendly and tried their best to please. Once in a lifetime experiences and then a cozy, comfortable place to come back to…..nice!

Room/Cottage was superb - loks like a small African village which makes the atmosphere just perfect. Reception and dinning area same - like an African lodge. Food enough choices and tasty - super choices of fresh fruits, pasta and pancakes.

Complexe hôtelier très agréable, de grands d’espaces de détente et des activités pour les plus jeunes ( Ping Pong, billard, jeux..) Les responsables sont très présents, les employés à l’écoute et aux petits soins Nous avons séjourné dans une villa sur la plage Proximité immédiate de la plage Très spacieuse ( nous étions 2 adultes et 2 enfants ) Le seul bémol c’est la plage ! Ne vous attendez pas à une plage paradisiaque avec sable blanc ce n’est pas du tout le cas, avec le phénomène des marées, elle n’est pas présente et quand elle revient c’est plein d’algues :-(

The smile of all people that work there . Excellent service , clean facility, exceptional food . Victor is amazing cheff .Compliments to the staff that works with him . Compliments to the waiters and waitress that work in the restorants .Compliments to the gardners for the beautiful flowers. Compliments to our cleaning room Eva for her grace and to the other like her that where working very hard . Everting was perfect ? No . What remains is a wonderful vacation . A constructive critic will be on the drinks 🍸 side . Needed more quality selection . Very unusual to do not have prosecco and if we have to pay a part for "Sanbuca" we expect something good. Instead was orrible and we couldn't not even drink but we had to pay . Like i said we enjoyed the vacation but the management has to do more for not felling in this mistakes. I will give a 4.5 in 5 stars 🌟 .

It's a beach front hotel! Pros: As it is a little higher than the beach, the beach boys would just bother you when you would go to the beach, when you are inside the hotel property they don't. They serve coconut water daily, and for it was a big plus! It's a big hotel, lots of sunbeds and places to hang around Cons: The beach was full of seaweed, and for the 8 days that I was there they just cleaned the excess on the sand just once. Other surrounding hotels did it more often. If you want fresh beach towels, you have to give them back the used ones till 6pm. As there is sun till 7pm, for me it was a problem, as I needed to cut short my day so I'd have fresh towels the next day. For a 4 star hotel, I wasn't expecting that. On Sundays and Thurdays nights, they serve dinner outside, with live music. It was really nice, except the music went till 10:15pm and 10:30pm, and it really bothered me, as I was jet lagged and wanted to sleep early, but the music was loud.

Estuve con mi pareja en este hotel un total de 2 noches en régimen de todo incluido. La verdad que al llegar nos decepcionamos un poco porque la zona de la piscina no es tanto como aparece en las fotos. Es bonita, pero más simple de lo que parece. También dio la casualidad que en el hotel en esos días habían hospedados unos clientes muy escandalosos que nada más el primer día nos saturaron, ya que hacían mucho ruido que llegaba hasta el bar de la playa (que está a 40 metros de la piscina). Esa misma noche (jueves) organizaron una cena alrededor de la piscina y poco a poco nos fue ganando el hotel. La comida es estupenda y variada. Y nuestra habitación (una superior), enorme y con todo lo necesario. Habían snacks y bebida durante todo el día tanto en el bar de la piscina como en el de la playa.

10 days of relaxation
The resort is located about 1 hour from the airport on the east of the island. Don't make the mistake that we made in booking a hotel transfer directly from the hotel as they are obliged to use the in-house "Zanzitours" transfer service at $75. (We booked a local taxi for the return transfer at $40) We arrived at the hotel just after 15:00 local time which was after lunch time cut-off but we were invited to have lunch regardless - big thumbs up for that The hotel is about 25 years old and is beginning to look a little tired but it is a lovely nonetheless. Our room was nice: well appointed but again, needs a refresh. We had a beachside villa (room 145) which was probably the best located villa on the resort - closest villa to the main resort building and the beach club hut. Rooms 144 and 147 will also share this ideal location The food is delicious - drinks are plentiful (we took the all inclusive option) and service is friendly. However, step out onto the public beach and you are fair game for constant pestering from the locals, selling their wares and offering sightseeing tours and sailing trips (at reduced costs offered by the hotel) Entertainment is provided by the "animation team" led by Shuma, who are young, enthusiastic and linguistically talented - amongt them, they could converse with all Europeans guests and provided a number of activities for those who wanted to take part
