“Nous avions une bonne chambre dans cet hôtel au charme un peu décati avec logements espacés sur une vaste portion de plage : cela donne l’impression que l’hôtel n’est pas plein. Personnel extrêmement agréable et prévenant. Très belle plage de sable blanc se découvrant à marée basse. Seul petit problème : le système écolo de chauffage d’eau ne fournit pas d’eau chaude le matin !”

“Piccola struttura a fianco del villaggio Bravo, molto pulito e curato, il ristorante bar annesso con la colazione compresa è un plus in più. Possibilità di pranzare o cenare, pesce freschissimo, grigliate miste eccellenti a prezzi abbordabili, personale che parla bene l'italiano e si adopera per risolvere problemi. Sarebbe auspicabile maggiore cura nel dettaglio, magari pulire lo spazio prospiciente la spiaggia, come fanno gli altri vicino.”

“PROS: The hotel is on beautiful grounds with a lovely pool and attended by friendly staff. CONS: The food is really very bad, the bedding and pillows should be burnt, and they use an incredibly unsafe and outdated credit card system. OVERALL: There are so many cool and interesting places to stay on Zanzibar. I'd opt for somewhere else.”

“This is a gem. The manager and staff were simply wonderful. Calm, attentive, caring in a very modest and warm way. The resort is relatively small but beautiful and very well kept. Bungalows have no AC and are quite basic, which gives a laid back and relaxed atmosphere. I would perhaps not recommend Zoi for a lively family with energetic kids, but I am sure they would also be very warmely received! ”

“ At first glance it looks as if this hotel is a quite calm luxurious hotel. But after staying here for 5days I would not say that luxury is the correct word. All in all we had 5 cockroaches (apart from other critters) in our room at different times. After the first night we told the reception and got the reply that they would try to fix it but that they really can’t because the hotel is located in a very green area. They sprayed a lot of bug spray in our room hoping that it would solve the issue...

“Nice place, standard on the rooms and area is good not as on the pictures. Your are not able to Swim on the beach without shoes due to all sea urchins which is very sad and frustrating. The hotel is a low 4 star hotel. We expected higher standard based on pictures and description on the website but it was still good/ok”

“Amazing! Really lovely, so well taken care of by the staff. Beauty secluded bungalows, spacious and beautiful with lovely bathrooms. Great for snorkelling, diving and water adventures. Great food but a very small undiverced menu. So a bit far from other restaurants but it’s only a question of laziness. Loved it and would love to go back soon!”
