The customer service is outstanding, with staff ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the volcano view was a highlight.
The pool is amazing, perfect for pictures, and offers a breathtaking spot to enjoy both sunrise and sunset. The added bonus of kayaks made the experience even more enjoyable. One day was not enoughâ will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

âFantastic Eco Lodge with excellent food, many options for activities, and top of the line service. Highly recommend, especially for couples and romantic getaways.â
âThe trails through the jungle around the lodge are incredible, and very well maintained. The owner and staff were very attentive, and I felt completely taken care of, from the moment my plane landed, until my return flight took off. The lodge owner matched me with a guide, Harold âThe Tiger,â who took me on several grand adventures, hiking, kayaking, birding, touring white towns. This was the best stay Iâve ever had, anywhere! I plan on returning, soon. I can not recommend this place enough!!â
âPositive: Very nice property in a lovely location; kayaks and paddle boards available free of charge, clean comfortable rooms, hot showers with strong water pressure, good breakfast
Negative: We booked a room with full board but were told upon arrival that the hotel did not even offer full board, that just breakfast was included. Hotels.com needs to look into this issue!! Water in both pools had an oily surface, not entirely clean.â
âFantastic place, beautiful colonial atmosphere and great room. The only down side was the somewhat limited breakfast. I was expecting a bit more at this price range.â
âThe property was quiet, the staff was excellent( especially at the bar and the morning breakfast staff). Itâs within walking distance of a ton of restaurants, and all of the churches and plazas. Thereâs no need to do the horse carriage tours. Visit the chocolate museum. Thereâs a pizza place across the street. The only slight complaint was that the room was too cold sometimes.â
