“客室から津軽海峡を一望でき、温泉では波の音を聞きながら海を眺められました。 飛行機好きとしては、温泉に入りながら函館空港を離着陸する様子を見られたのがとても良かったです。 温泉にフライト時刻が分かる案内や時計があれば、さらに満足度が上がると思います。”

“Perfect location right next to Hakodate Station and the morning market. Excellent service including a desk for sending luggage to next accomodation. Downside is beds and pilllows were too firm for my liking. Especially the pillows. Seems like standard in japanese hotels with firm beds and pillows though.”

Friendly and accommodating staff who kept our luggage before and after check-out so we could go sight-seeing. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hakodate. The best place we've stayed at in Japan so far.”

“We stayed at Junior suit but the room looked like has not been used for some time and it was super dusty many places. Toilet was not cleaned enough and smelled really stinky. The worse was the air conditioner. We run 16 degrees but the room was never cooled enough. We finally decided to leave earlier. ”

“Hotel’s buffet is good. But if you are staying for more than 1 night, you might not want to pay for half board as the spread for breakfast and dinner doesn’t change. Otherwise, hotel is clean and comfortable. You need a car to move around though as it is not close to town centre.”

“函館市のホテルの値上がりがひどい中、さして値上げもせず、場所も電停からさほど遠くなく、駐車場も狭くなく、バイキングの品数も十分でした。湯の川は加水温泉が多い中、源泉掛け流しが一つあったのもよかったです。”
