This property was amazing and homely. It was a very quiet and peaceful area. Very family friendly. The grounds were nice and clean. There were ample fire pits to sit in front of and get warm. The rental office had plenty of board games and videos. The house was fully equipped with cooking and some cleaning supplies. There was an on-site bar and grill, coffee/pastry stand, and market. There was also a play ground for the little ones. I plan on booking a stay there in the future.

The unit was very well decorated and in general, very clean. Well located in a very quiet community. Our only issue was, pet hair on the furniture and area rug. While we understand pets are allowed, the pet hair indicates that cleaning is not be completed properly.

Property was clean, but in the review we had reserved a Queen, Queen, Twin and it also said "water views". There was no view of anything and only one Queen bed and 2 twins. The properties are not very well built - seems like cheap, quick construction.

Great stay!

The resort was really nice. It was family friendly. The receptionist was helpful and pointed out sightseeing places. We felt like we were home. My kids loved the house! The only thing that bothered us a little bit was that they want you to leave the house spotless “just like you found it” that was stressed out a lot even though there is a cleaning fee. But other than that it was a great place to stay.

Beautiful home..just right for the two of us. Exactly as advertised, would absolutely stay again. Very close to a wonderful beach and a short drive to traditional tourist activities.

Beautiful Beach Cottage

Oyhut Bay Resort was terrific! We rented a 2-bedroom cottage for a few days, and liked it so much we extended our stay. It was clean, quiet, and accessible to all of the fun things in Ocean Shores. We’ll definitely stay here again when in the area.

This was our second visit to Oyhut Bay we phoned we would be late because of traffic and they were very accommidating the cottage is so nice and the addition of the store and Bistro make ot a really nice weekend get away we plan on returning

New Year Get Away

Second time we have stayed. When did the one bedroom one bath cottage. Check in with very friendly and helpful. Unit was clean stocked. Plenty of parking. Quiet. Lots to do around here. We will be back.

We were told we would have a fold out sofa bed, which we didn't. We were given an air bed instead. Communication is not real great, but the area is gorgeous and the house was nice.

Different experience.. loved the stay.. didn't have ocean view... but saw deers... all facilities available in the unit including laundry. Beach towels and even all utensils were available.

Gorgeous brand new 2 bedroom house.

This beautiful brand-new two bedroom house was perfect for our brief stay. Wish we could've stayed longer. They were brand-new board games, movies, a fireplace, and everything with sparkling clean. It was close to the beach but not right on the beach.

A very good family freindly premium resort!

This resort is about 4 miles away from the main activity hub at OceanShores downtown. The resort is very pristine and replete with the latest appliances and comforts. The staff is extremely hospitable. There is an onsite rental operated by "affordable mopeds" that offers kayaks, electric boats on rent. Bicycles were offered as complimentary and as well as a bottle of wine (I believe it is to attract visitors). Although the resort seems overpriced (labor day weekend, 2016), I think it is among the best that is available in the area for the given quality. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Nicest place to stay in Ocean Shores.

I took my kids on a mini vacation to Ocean Shores for a couple of nights. Initially, we were booked to stay in what turned out to be a depressing, run-down motel (I didn't do my homework and bought a living social voucher based on the description, assuming it would be decent). So, last-minute, I used hotels.com to find Oyhut. It was lovely. A new little community of vacation rental homes. It was quiet and remote - not right on the beach, but within a mile or so (we used our car). If you're wanting a comfortable, lovely, incredibly clean home away from home, this is your place. We never interacted with any service staff. The instructions for keypad lock and wifi passcode were emailed to me in advance, and I received a phone call from their office upon booking through hotels.com. The community is being developed, so there are no immediate restaurants or shops - food etc is about a 3-4 mile ride up the road.

Nice cottage in Ocean Shores

Cottage was very clean and well managed. Very pleasant place! A little far out of town but construction in process of nice appearing retail and food options for fall 2016 in the resort. For us, it was a 30 minute round trip to get groceries or eat out. Plenty of space. We reserved for a group of six but only enough linens for four people requiring us to launder towels and stagger showers in order for everyone to have linens. Laundry facilities in unit made that possible. Nicely stocked kitchen.
