“I really enjoyed the service and the guy in the checking has some humor which I love. First I really appreciated the room, it looked cozy and u also commented on that, but when night fell and the lights by the bed was lit, I saw how very dirty and stained the floors where. Bug brown spots made me look for bugs but no bugs, so no worry but since the bedsheets was clean, the toilet was pristine I am a bit disappointed and a bit concerned why they did not just wet vacuum the floors once in a while?”

“The Railway Inn is a small hotel, over a pub that closes reasonably early and literally next to the train lines. The barkeep is also the hotel staff and the breakfast cook. She is terrific and lively. My room was on the second floor - spacious with two excellent twin beds, comfortable bedding and kettle, cookies, etc. They would like entry by 22.00 which I did not see in the ad, so I arrived later and she directed me to reach my room, which she had left open. The breakfast is cooked to order...

“Trevligt hotell dit vi gärna återvänder. Egen bil eller taxi behövs om man vill besöka Oxford stad men detta är en oas att bo på.”

“Badic accommodation. Poor value for money. A pub with rooms. You could smell the fried chips when you opened the door in the car park. The staff were jobs worth and not welcoming. Poorly maintained property which felt grubby. My room had a sash window broken so couldn't open it. Only good thing were the bath towels and good mattress. Pillows awful. Make sure you don't have a room on the front of the hotel as the noise from the road is continous through the night. I would not stay there...

“Inget bra hotel. Mottagandet var mycket dåligt. När vi kommer hem till hotellet på kvällen blev vi inte informerade om att det inte fanns varmvatten. Vi fick duscha i kallt vatten. Frukosten var mycket dålig. ”
