“My Glencoe trip was a bucket-list item and it proved to be wonderful. Kentra cottage is lovely - spotless, all mod cons, comfortable, spacious, very well equipped. Many thanks to Kirsty the owner. Glencoe village is quaint and of course perfectly placed for the spectacular surroundings. There are easy walks in woods and by the loch side to very difficult ones like Buachaille Etive Mor (for an older person like me!) which I did (just) - worth the effort though. All in all, a superb trip.”

“We loved it! Great views, ever changing. Walking opportunities, beautiful area, landscapes are amazing. Helpful owners, loved the chickens walking round. In the evening we made short trips by car to see the deer. The sheep with there lambs were a joy to see (drive carefully!). The house has everything you need, for a longer stay a washing machine would be helpful. We will be back for another stay!”

“We have stayed in the area many times but first time stay for the Croft, highly recommended and beautiful very secure garden for our 2 dogs, house very well equipped, the only gripe of it is a gripe is a mirror near a socket would be good for us ladies who need to dry our hair, and maybe a wardrobe to store clothes if there is more than 2 adults but there is a rail with hangers on and drawers so we got by. We would definitely return.”

“Stayed in the lodge- you pay for the hot tub and the setting. The accommodation is dated and cramped with little amenities especially in the kitchen-broken utensils etc. Feel the price warrants a little bit of a higher standard. Restaurant on main hotel serves great seafood. Just don’t expect the lodge accommodation to match the outdoor facilities!”

“We stayed in the cottage 24 years ago and loved it. It has not changed much. This is the charm of the place. The cottage is situated in a quiet setting on Loch Sunart and after exploring all day was a nice place to relax and unwind. Our host Charlie was great. We had a water issue and it was handled straight away. I hope to return soon. A week was to short.”

“Communication from Karen leading up to our stay was excellent, meaning the caravan was very easy to find. Both in this communication and the handy folder in the caravan meant after a full day travelling and exploring getting there we were able to find somewhere to eat easily.
