Our rates are comparable to similar home-style traditional Bed & Breakfasts in the McLaren Vale Wine Region. We feel we provide some of the best value because of our prime location, personal service standards, afternoon tea, our gourmet 3-course cooked breakfast (we are extremely happy to cater to special medically diagnosed dietary requirements), morning newspaper, complimentary port and chocolates together with the turndown service and access to free superfast internet. We offer each and every guest; 21 hours of accommodation in a queen size room with recently renovated private ensuite bathroom, the use of a guest lounge with complementary tea and coffee making facilities, access to a covered outdoor entertaining area and established garden. We also guaranteed a midday checkout – the latest checkout of all accommodation options on the Fleurieu Peninsula. We are ideally situated for “Day on the Green” events, only a short 7 minute drive to the venue. Indeed, we are conveniently located for visiting all wineries, cellar doors and restaurants, with two restaurants only 100m from our front door. Remember to avail yourself of similar B&B’s on your next break you need to look for the words “Traditional” or “Fully Hosted”, that way you ensure you have someone to do all the cooking and looking after for you. Hi Jay & Jennifer We appreciate you taking the time to post a review on your recent stay with us. Thank you for bringing the minor maintenance issues to our attention, had they been mentioned to us during your stay as we could have remedied them on the spot. We are sorry that you felt you were not cool enough during your stay. The temperature on the day you arrived only reached a high of 26c, this is not regarded in any way as a hot day here in South Australia, and again if you had only mentioned it to us, at any stage during your stay we would have remedied it on the spot! The B&B room you stayed in is a standard size bedroom and is suitable for people with ambulant disabilities. We do not promote or indeed advertise ourselves as a wheelchair accessible B&B. We were delighted to assist you in organising your restaurant reservations, that you enjoyed our three course gourmet breakfast in the morning, (especially the baked bananas ) and that you made full use of our complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi. We hope to welcome you back sometime in the future.
