“The hotel is on the other side of the river, beware as most of the things in town are on the other side which takes about 25 minutes to get to. The airport is also about that distance also. There is not much around the hotel mostly houses and very few eating places, as I mentioned most of the things to do are on the other side of the river. The hotel is quite close to where the air balloons take off. there is also a few ruins around but not the famous ones. The hotel is in an old building, the...

“The New Memnon is located within walking distance to some of the most interesting sites on the West Bank. Fifteen minutes to Deir el Medina and Medinet Habu and only slightly farther to the Valley of the Queens and the Ramesseum. That’s probably one reason it is popular with archaeologists. If’s well kept, with very helpful personnel. The food is very good. If you want dinner you talk to them earlier in the day and they prepare something with care. That makes for great food, but I would prefer...

“Struttura molto bella e curata con un bel giardino ed una rilassante piscina. Le stanze sono ampie con terrazzino. Noi avevamo all inclusive e ci siamo trovati bene. Tutti molto gentili e servizievoli. Il WiFi funziona solo in reception. Colazione varia con omelette fatte al momento e succo all ibiscus fatto da loro. Si arriva con una passeggiata di un quarto d ora o con tuk tuk all imbarco delle barche che portano sull altra riva del Nilo. Consigliatissimo”

“We loved our stay . People that worked at the hotel were so kind and helpful . Special shout out to Bashar . He drove us anywhere , took great care of us and became our friend . The rooftop restaurant , pool and bar overlooked the Hatshepsut , Ramses , Valley of the Kings sites . Absolutely a great place to stay and become a great part of your trip .”

“My stay at the Nile Compound Hotel was amazing! The hotel is a garden oasis surrounded by the beautiful farmland of Luxor. I could not have picked a better place to stay. Mr Yousef and the rest of the staff were spectacular! Mr Yousef arranged my transportation to several sites and always made sure I was enjoying myself. The food, especially the breakfast, were always delicious and they even gave me a breakfast before my early morning flight back to Cairo. I am so glad I chose to stay at...
