“Overall a great experience! Beautiful! ”

“We rode on a motorcycle for 10 hours under constant rain. When we arrived at 10pm, we were soaked. Hot shower was all matters. I am glad the water was very hot. Towels and hair dryer were ready. The room was very clean. They also offer free coffee and some energy bars, which ended up as our dinner. It was a perfect destination for our day.”

“While otherwise everything was excellent, I have to strongly downgrade the place for the following reason. This is a concierge-less fully automated property. We got there exactly at 4, and the front door did not open w the provided pin. After trying several times, my wife discovered that an additional button had to be pushed, while I was on the phone unsuccessfully trying to get somebody on the provided phone number. This button was not disclosed in the instructions. That took 10 minutes....

“Although we were at Paddler’s Rest briefly, we would return again to enjoy all of the amenities. The private sandy beach, indoor game room, and free use of kayaks and canoes were a huge bonus. The refrigerator in the motel room was sizable. The staff were welcoming and quick to give us dining suggestions.”
