We ended up at a wine bar and were stunned that so good places could be found right there. Beautiful nature, forest close by and good for chill out.”

“Our room at Blueberry Hill Motel was spotless, rustic and comfy. The hosts at Blueberry Hill / Sandy Point were fantastic. They gave us wonderful tips on places to go and places to eat, and were all-around helpful and welcoming! They truly made our first visit to the Adirondacks an unforgettably positive experience. Thank you so much!! Two points worth mentioning: Blueberry Hill is not on the lake, but Sandy Point is; the office is at Sandy Point, so that’s where you’ll need to check in. ”

“This is a low-end motel. There is incessant traffic noise from the highway. The only nearby eating establishment is Star Cafe, a typical greasy spoon with minimal fare. The only saving graces are the adjacent laundromat and the price. There is also a minimart by the gas station for survival needs. ”

“The motel was very clean ...but a bit small however its a good rate for a night or 2 ..manager is so nice and informative about the area. The best part is its so close..walking distance to Fonda speedway..and close the Glen Ridge motorsports park. Since we were racing our car and going to watch races too...it was an awesome place to stay. Def may stay again there!”
