“Clean, right off main street”

“I recently stayed at the Snowshoe Lodge in Lake Placid, NY, and it was an absolute gem! The lodge was super cute and impeccably clean, creating such a cozy and welcoming vibe. I especially loved the separate living area with a kitchenette, which made it so convenient for relaxing and whipping up quick meals. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—within walking distance to the charming downtown Lake Placid, with its shops and restaurants, and just a short drive to some fantastic hiking...

“I did really like the modern rooms. Clean, lots of room and a good bathroom. Not to far from the center of North Creek. A small town where we went to eat. We ended up at a wine bar and were stunned that so good places could be found right there. Beautiful nature, forest close by and good for chill out.”

“As cheap and plain as it could be. How to check in at a sister motel over a mile away, but was not notified until a day after arrival. Had to ask neighbors where the office was. Looks like it has been closed up for years. Barely worth half of what we paid.”

“This is a low-end motel. There is incessant traffic noise from the highway. The only nearby eating establishment is Star Cafe, a typical greasy spoon with minimal fare. The only saving graces are the adjacent laundromat and the price. There is also a minimart by the gas station for survival needs. ”

“The motel was very clean ...but a bit small however its a good rate for a night or 2 ..manager is so nice and informative about the area. The best part is its so close..walking distance to Fonda speedway..and close the Glen Ridge motorsports park. Since we were racing our car and going to watch races too...it was an awesome place to stay. Def may stay again there!”
