“Everything was okay but in the pictures of the listing it was a regular condo and then we get there we end up in a basement. It was fine and nice but a little more obvious when renting a basement for 1700 would be nice”

“Gina and staff were warm and friendly. When our toilet clogged, we got upgraded. When we needed a delayed checkout, they accommodated. We had a fire for a cold night and got delicious eggs and crispy bacon for breakfast. Highly recommend for those lovers of all things Italian. ”

“Hotel was being renovated and was terrible. Stayed on 4th floor and elevator was also broken. Half of the floor was closed off with workers and large boxes in the hall. Dead bugs were on the ceiling. We want a refund for our stay.”

With this place, the email for customer service returns as doesn’t exist. The phone number direct you to the website which has no way to talk to anybody. “Don’t expect luxury but a good, modern hotel with cleaning only when requested. Bed was excellent as was the penthouse restaurant/bar. Valet parking and garage available in the building. I would recommend a room on the top floors due quite a bit of street noice, not over bearing but certainly noticeable. Unusually high water pressure which made showering almost painful. “Easy check-in experience and kind staff in lobby, however the place has absolutely 0 security. The door to my shared room had a digital lock but it didn’t work, so the door couldn’t lock. As I woke up in the morning and was on my way out at around 8.30-9 there were two random people (not paying guests) sleeping in the lobby and behind the front desk. Sure it’s a clean place and great for a cheap stay in Chicago, just don’t bring any valueables what so ever. ”
