“I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn since I was a child in the 70's (in Bethesda in Maryland). Nearly 50 years later I stayed at the Holiday Inn at Halifax Airport mainly because of my late arrival at the airport and it was really nice.
I stayed in a suite on the third floor and it was spacious, quiet and very clean.
The staff in general at the hotel were all very pleasent and helpful.
Some of the furniture in the room seemed to be from the 70's and the wooden knives and forks in the breakfast...
“Sam was an excellent host and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Our room was clean and cozy and so was the bathroom. There is a nice private area right across the road on the water that we used to relax. The hot breakfast provided the next morning was delicious and freshly made. We would definitely stay there again.”

Some of the furniture in the room seemed to be from the 70's and the wooden knives and forks in the breakfast room gave the breakfast experience a somewhat cheap aftertaste. However, the food was good and if you arent too concerned with such minor negatives I would definitely recommend this hotel.
