“Beautiful fixtures, but shoddy finishes and decor. Masking tape when painting would have gone a long way to show pride of ownership. Though tidy, the space was unclean: food stuck on the dishes in the cabinets, hair and dust on the floors, mildew and soap scum on the shower walls. The unit is in the basement, no window view, and climate control is limited to opening or closing vent covers. “When we walked into our room we noticed muddy footprints on the floor leading from the patio door that opened to the parking lot. We also had ants in our bathroom and in the entrance way. Both issues we taken to the front desk attendant who replied with “that’s not very common, I’ll talk to my manager to see what can be done”. Nothing was done during our stay. We didn’t spend much time in our room because we took the GO transit into Toronto but it still would have been nice to have the floor...

“Hotel was clean and seems well maintained. The room was quiet and there was a reasonable selection for breakfast. The bed was comfortable. The only complaint is the pillows - they go totally flat when you rest your head on them.”

“Our stay at Our Valley View B&B was way more than we had hoped for, both for the comfort of our room to the hospitality of the hosts. The sweet couple running the place were incredibly kind and provided amazing insight on local places to visit and how to best go about exploring the nearby cities.
