It only took about 20 minutes to drive into Coimbra so we had the best of city and country. There also was a great local restaurant for local style food. I would definitely stay there again. ”

“The house is lovely. We particularly loved the outside kitchen, dining and lounge area and we used this a great deal. The pool was also great. The house is in a good location in a small hamlet but there are no facilities there so you do need to drive everywhere. It is about 20min drive to Coimbra which is a very pretty old city and definitely worth a visit. The Atlantic coast is about 45min drive where there are beautiful long sandy beaches. “We had a very relaxing week in this remote but stylish location. Well equipped and roomy authentic outbuilding of beautiful countryhouse. The hosts Dirk and Martine were utmost helpful and pleasant. The pool is situated In a beautiful valley surrounded by olive trees and oleanders. We will most certainly book again.”

“Nous avons quitté les lieux plus tôt que prévu. La literie est catastrophique !!! Deux nuits ont suffit a nous casser le dos. Le logement n’est pas du tout adapté aux enfants, il manque cruellement de luminosité est très isolé de la civilisation. La cuisines n’est pas fonctionnelle ( pas d’eau chaud à l’évier, le peu d’ustensiles se délabre dans nos mains. La piscine se trouve dans le jardin des parents du propriétaire, donc il faut passer par un chemin de broussailles pour si rendre et une fois...

“Very impressive villa, amazing grounds and pool, the villa is very clean, large windows with tons of natural light. It’s very well equipped, beautiful linens and lots of room for groups. We stayed as a family of 9 and it was absolutely perfect. We all loved the morning breakfast & delivery of freshly baked goods!”
