And it is well positioned to do day trips to the more popular tourist areas like Otranto, Lecce, and Gallipoli. Plus you can easily find free parking on the street nearby to leave your car overnight. “Bella struttura situata in pieno centro a Matino, un paese molto carino situato a 10 minuti da Gallipoli, e in una posizione strategica per chi ha voglia di visitare la tante meraviglie che offre il Salento. La camera in cui abbiamo soggiornato è risultata pulitissima, ben arredata, silenziosa, dotata di una grande e comoda terrazza. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile. “Abbiamo avuto a disposizione un appartamento su misura per noi: una famiglia di 4 persone con figli adolescenti. Avevamo a disposizione tutto: dagli elettrodomestici (perfino la lavatrice!) ad una bella veranda con salottino in vimini e tavolo con sedie dove era possibile consumare i pasti. La location (marina di San Gregorio) ha completato il tutto: ideale per chi ama la natura, il mare incontaminato ma non vuole perdere le proprie comodità. “Amazing stay at Palazzo Castriotta. Our host did everything to make our stay magical with recommendations for beaches, exceptional places, restaurants... a big wow. We stayed 4 days. The family room was impeccable and what can we say about the homemade lunch to be had in the garden and the lovely lady who served the coffee and welcomed us. A magnificent address for visiting Salento!”
