“There was blood on the bed sheets ,the tub was dirty, poor tv quality ,unprofessional staff and the food was overpriced.”

“5 stars!! We went for my daughter's LSU gymnastic camp and it was only 5 minutes away. The staff was excellent and very friendly, always greeting us when we walked in or out. Our room was also clean and beds were comfortable - we got a 2 queen suite. They had everything in the kitchen - stovetop, toaster, microwave, pans / pots, dishes, cups, silverware and even glass tupperware! I like splenda with my coffee and this place had it (rare at hotels). Plenty of parking and plenty of restaurants...

“Great historic property. Beautiful and interesting. Nice restaurant great bar, soso daily coffee shop. Coffee shop staff was mediocre and be prepared for what you want. There is literally only ONE menu there. All other staff were fantastic.”

“We stayed here for our wedding night so we had somewhere near the afterparty to retreat to. Check-in was a breeze, the room was cute and clean and the toiletries were nice. The mattress is a bit softer than I like but many people would prefer it. The purple green and gold Nespresso pods were a nice touch. Great value, would highly recommend to visitors and will probably come back for weekend getaways.”

“Practical location. But for the price i paid it was not as expected. Very bad sound isolation. I got a bad rum against the Highway. Heard the traffic loudly. Also my room had a door to the NeXT room so i heard the people there loudly as well. ”

“Room was never cleaned even though we stayed 4 nights. The doors didn’t close well. The outside property was not maintained. The rooms were very big if you get the suite. Breakfast was always empty at the times we went. The front desk when we arrived was the most amazing worker. She was the best part of our stay.”

“Everyone was so nice and welcoming from the moment we got there. Very good customer service. The room was nice and clean. It’s close to a lot of places and walking distance to restaurants which makes it nice since the hotel doesn’t have its own parking lot and we did valet parking. I’ll definitely be coming back and staying here!”

“I stayed here for 2 nights for a family trip. The bed was so comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was strong, and the breakfast was tasty! I spent about an hour with my feet in the pool. I did see some bugs in the pool but I think that's expected in the south especially when a storm was about to roll in. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again in the future.”
