“We only had hot water for 1 of the 4 days we were there.”

“I was there for a camp on LSU campus, it was very convenient. Plenty of places to eat close to hotel. The hotel was very nice and clean. The curtains in our room needed replacing, they were torn. The breakfast was good and the area was excellent, I wish this area was available for hanging out with family and friends. The staff answered any questions but were not friendly.”

“Great historic property. Beautiful and interesting. Nice restaurant great bar, soso daily coffee shop. Coffee shop staff was mediocre and be prepared for what you want. There is literally only ONE menu there. All other staff were fantastic.”

“We stayed here for our wedding night so we had somewhere near the afterparty to retreat to. Check-in was a breeze, the room was cute and clean and the toiletries were nice. The mattress is a bit softer than I like but many people would prefer it. The purple green and gold Nespresso pods were a nice touch. Great value, would highly recommend to visitors and will probably come back for weekend getaways.”

“Everyone was so nice and welcoming from the moment we got there. Very good customer service. The room was nice and clean. It’s close to a lot of places and walking distance to restaurants which makes it nice since the hotel doesn’t have its own parking lot and we did valet parking. I’ll definitely be coming back and staying here!”

“We didn't try the breakfast, so I can't speak to that. We reserved a 2 queen room and were given a 1 king with sofa bed. Told it was an upgrade and when we said we didnt want it (we had 2 adults and 2 teens), they said it was the last available room in the hotel. I don't believe that at all, but we made do. The room itself smelled like over-powering fragrance and the carpet was slightly damp, like they sprayed febreeze everywhere. Shower floor didnt look clean. I'm not snobby or hard to please,...

“I stayed here for 2 nights for a family trip. The bed was so comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was strong, and the breakfast was tasty! I spent about an hour with my feet in the pool. I did see some bugs in the pool but I think that's expected in the south especially when a storm was about to roll in. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again in the future.”

“The first room we were given was not cleaned with any TLC. Immediately, after opening the shower curtain, I noticed several strands of hair on the shower wall. I could tell the bath had not been thoroughly cleaned, hence the strands of hair all over the wall. I had to rinse it myself. Even with that, the hair washed down easily. That tells me, the bathroom was not cleaned well. The toilet paper looked as though someone had recently used the toilet. The least the staff could have done was changed...
