“ I had a very nice stay at the Puerto Mayor. It was a good value for the cost especially since it included breakfast. The hotel personnel were pleasant and the room was quiet. I stayed there before a cruise and the cab ride to the terminal only took a few minutes. That was a real convenience. The hotel was within sight of the ship and no hotel was any nearer. I got to San Antonio by bus from Santiago and the taxi ride from the bus terminal to the hotel only took about 15 minutes.”

“Alright place but a bit off from Casablanca and you’ll need a taxi to get around. Limited offering in the restaurant, both in terms of wine and food, and the breakfast was quite poor (they ran out of eggs to serve us). ”

“Spectacular! The hotel is really beautiful! (If you like luxury in a colonial setting, you’re a fool if you skip this place!). It’s very easy to visit the vineyards (make sure you go to viña casa Marin). The staff is extremely friendly and professional! Moreover, the hotel has a restaurant with great food!”

“This was the best place I could have chosen for my week long visit to Valparaiso! Set atop a small hill a mile south of Sotomayor Square the guest house is in a more quiet neighborhood. This area is convenient for visiting the UNESCO areas, but much more peaceful and safe for walking around. The room (I chose #3) had a view of the garden/ courtyard and was always cool and comfortable even in the hot weather. “Property located on top of the cliff. It has good view from the room with hot tub but beside there are nothing, the road condition is very unsafe to drive around so can stay out late, building condition is not good so can hear your next room conversation at all time. ”
