“We loved staying at this home! The location is perfect, tucked away in a vineyard. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths accommodated our group perfectly. Check in was difficult. We were not able to arrive in the 2 hr window that the host was there. They left the keys in the lock, but we didnt have parking information and couldnt reach the host via phone or VRBO. Eventually some nice ladies came out and pointed out where to park. Besides a bumpy check in, the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend...

“My wife and I celebrated our 25 year wedding anniversary at the Quinta. It's location made it convenient to visit local museums, wineries and Churches. The location also allowed us to explore many nearby small towns for amazing meals and to meet lovely people. Porto is only ~1.4hrs by tollway, which is 90% of the travel. We highly recommend taking the train, just across the Douro in Régua, out to Pocinho for a relaxing lunch and walk around the quaint town before returning. The railway view...

“Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans un environnement propice aux vacances et à la détente. La maison est grande, les propriétaires très gentils et aux petits soins pour nous. Ils nous ont accueillis avec des fleurs, un panier de légumes, des oeufs, des citrons.... La maison est très bien équipée. Bref il n'y a plus qu'à poser ses valises. Nous reviendrons !”

“The area was gorgeous and the view could not be beat. We made fresh orange juice and lemonade from the citrus trees, walked in the vineyard and cork forest, and enjoyed the quiet. The downside was the drive- it was a bit far from town and needs to be driven in daylight- do not attempt at night (single lane, tight curves, no guardrails, very rural). The house was spacious but could use some upgrades.”

“We were a party of 18, there were enough room for us all! All 10 rooms have a separate bathroom, which is great! The pool area was magnificent, as was the view over the valley with wineyards! Too minor minuses that could be corrected: The first was the lack of air condition or at least fans for the four rooms on the bottom floor. It was awfully hot in the area most of the week and the owners had put fans in all other rooms. The second minor issue was the cooking facilities with stove and oven...

“Le logement est minuscule, et contrairement à ce qui est indiqué il n'y a pas 2 salles de bain. Aucune fenêtre ne possède de volet, les toilettes et la douche sont dans la chambre principale en mode ouvert. Le samedi soir il y a réunion au bar juste sous les fenêtres jusqu'à 3h00 du matin donc obligé de dormir les fenêtres fermées sans clim, et réveillé à 05:00 pa r le coq, les chiens et à 07:00 par le boulanger.... ”
