Close to the airport but far from comfortable
This is a Sharia compliant hotel. So, no alcohol and no in room movies or western TV channels. The food is very unimpressive and the wifi works at glacial speeds. On the plus side it's very easy to access from airport (less than 5 minutes by taxi and my room was spacious and clean (it was designated as a suite). There is a well equipped conference centre and ballroom/meeting rooms. The staff are friendly but clearly not challenged by "normal" tourist standards.

Horrible property. The rooms are big but mine was quiet filthy. I doubt the bed sheets had been changed. The food at the restaurant was horrible and even thought the place was empty the tables were dirty from the previous customers and had to chase the servers to come and take my order.

Room was clean and comfortable. Location is good near airport and town. Every room has own iron and works fine. Which is good coz we came back for Raya.

Clean and near airport
All in all a clean hotel next to airport. Pros: - near to Alor Setar airport - Islam compliant (no alcohol or pork in hotel) - room is spacious with view of paddy fields for certain rooms - adequately equipped gym. - separate gender swimming pools is available with sauna rooms. CONS - proper turning into hotel maybe confusing. - gym and sauna facilities not properly staff. No one to ask for towels. - breakfast was ok since it is fasting months. 3 choices of nasi lemak, fried noodles or American breakfast. - room need better plug points allocation. No plug points near the bed. - customers not informed of air con servicing!!! - shaver area spills over to toilet area.
