“I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience. I booked this trip to Big Bear to relax, enjoy the mountains, and get away from the city for a day with my family. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the experience I had. Around 5:00 PM, the front desk informed me that the guests next door had complained about noise coming from our room. “Can’t speak for amenities we did not use like the pool, but the cleanliness, and comfort were excellent. We received quick and courteous response from staff.”

“I hate to give such a bad review. My family began staying at the Goldmine Lodge in the early 1990s, so it had some nostalgic value. This weekend was the first time since 2007, and the property is really run-down. The wall heater didn't work, and the BBQs were rusted out and unusable. Most of the switches didn't work, and the kitchen window was broken.”

“I was very disappointed with my stay. The bathroom was marginal in terms of cleanliness, the refrigerator and ac did not work. The staff said they would replace it, but never did. Guests upstairs were very noisy all night, and the price for the room was quite high due to fourth of July holiday. All told, a very poor value and experience for the cost. I will not stay there again.”

“I would definitely would recommend this spot for couples. Love the quiet atmosphere. They had a double shower. Which is perfect for couples. close drive to everything we need(groceries, shop, restaurants). The only down side I have is that it’s near then main highway so you hear the traffic.”
