“We had a great stay at Ten Bits Ranch. This was our home base for three days as we hiked in Big Bend. The room was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The views from the porch and the fire pit were incredible. We enjoyed hiking to the apache cave across the street and the views from the cave were impressive. Ten Bits was very quiet. Check in and out was very easy. We would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we visit Big Bend. ”

“Host was super helpful before we even arrived and answered my questions very quickly. The A-frame was gorgeous and clean. We stayed there with our kids and they slept well on the pull-out sofa. They had an absolute blast at the Arcade on site. The entire property had wonderful views and was nicely landscaped. Would definitely stay there again!”

“Property was beautiful, and so was the surrounding area. Porta potty closest to our dome was not remotely clean at all, but the one 20 feet away from it was so it was no big deal. The first night was great, (other than getting bitten up) and then we woke up and made breakfast and left for our hike. When we got back to the dome, i attempted to make dinner and realized the area surrounding our food bags was being infested with ants that were getting through the cracks where the wall met the floor....

“We had the greatest time! The place looks straight out of the western era and the views are incredible! It’s super close to Big Bend. If you want to go see stars is the perfect place, always double check the weather because we did get some clouds and rain on the second day. Overall, it was a great place! The only thing that I would recommend is that the porch light to be red light, when we were stargazing some people had their porch light on and it affected visibility.”

“XB is fantastic! It is located in a beautiful spot perfect for rest and relaxation. Stargazing at night was also amazing. The convenience of the Cantina really helped keep our costs down and had everything we needed. We would highly recommend it and if we come back to the area, we would stay here again!”

“We loved our little Gun Ship cabin. It was ready for us when we arrived, and even better than we expected. It's off-grid for electricity and water, but we didn't suffer. The A/C worked and plenty of bottled water was provided. There was a TV in the room, but we never turned it on. The kitchen was convenient and well stocked. I cooked twice. This little collection of cabins is in the desert, off the beaten path. Sitting out at night is amazingly quiet--no traffic, no hoard of noisy...
