“The description of this little cottage was perfect - it was extremely charming! Callie was the ultimate host, providing all the amenities we needed & more. And the fact that the cottage was pet-friendly was an added benefit. I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of previous pets being there, but we literally could not tell there have ever been other animals in the house. It was spotless. I highly recommend this cottage for a stay...squeaky floorboards & all! (They just added to the charm!)”

“What a little gem! We enjoyed peace and quiet and had a lovely rest at the Lakeside Retreat. We were spoiled by our host Donna who is very caring and her place were fully stock with everything you need. It was very clean and spacious for a couple to enjoy a quick get away for a week or weekend. Donna we will be back, thank you very much for checking on us often to make sure we have what we needed. We will definitely book the Lakeside Retreat again. ”

“The house was clean and very nice. Check in was easy and there were clear written instructions for almost everything. I did struggle with how to operate the ceiling fan and light that hangs from the center of the home, but we figured it out eventually. There was the maintenance issue of a large branch hanging down from the tree overhanging the driveway. I ended up taking this down myself as I would not have been able to park if I did not.”
