“Definitely one of the best places we have stayed. There is a train station to Porto less than three minutes' walk away. In addition to the many restaurants, there is a wonderful water park for children. A great deal of help was provided by our host (Bernardo) with directions as well as being very responsive.”

“What an amazing stay! Our party of 9 had a wonderful time at the Stone House - and didn't want to leave. Our only regret was not visiting when the pool was open in summer - so we'll have to go back! The host and housekeeper were so accommodating, friendly, and gracious. The house was immaculately clean, and so very beautiful. The pool.ans outdoor area was great though the weather was bad during our stay so we didn't get to use it.. easy drive to Porto too! The only thing we found was the listing says spa pool and fitness centre which must be a mistake as there is not either of those available a this house.”
