Expedia clearly stated that we would pay at the property, then shortly after booking asked us to pay 50% deposit, which after checking with the property was not required. Then 24 hours before arrival Expedia took the full amount from our account. I will not deal with companies that behave in this manner. If you agree do not deal with Expedia. ”

“What a beautiful charming B&B. Located in the Idyllic village of Near Sawrey, I chose this place for it's charm, the price and location. Ann and Stephen, the host's couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. Beds are comfortable, lovely rooms. Tea and coffee available. Towels, complimentary washing items from local company. I loved it and throughly recommend it. ”

“We went as a family of 4 and our stay was great. No problem at all except we got a bit cold at night, but that’s it! Everything else was great. We got free parking just up the road courtesy of the b&b management and breakfast was also included, which wasn’t mentioned on the initial booking. So bonuses all round really!”
