“This guest house was just right for our weekend stay near family in Lancaster. Super clean, plenty of supplies in the bathroom and kitchen, air mattress for our 4th person, and we were able to bring our dog with us, which was great. Good communication with host, too, so we had everything we needed. ”

“We spend a week every year in Mount Gretna, and Frank's place was absolutely perfect for our family getaway over the 4th of July week. The house was incredibly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was exactly as it appeared in the photos. Our kids had lots of fun playing in the lovely neighborhood of Campmeeting and exploring the woods and many hiking trails in the area. One highlight as always was just relaxing and enjoying porch life on the wonderful red chairs.”

“The owners of the property carefully thought through all the amenities provided. We had what we needed for a very comfortable stay. We didn't think we needed an old school arcade until we had one! Place was wonderfully decorated, felt very welcoming. Communication with owners was easy. Only thing I didn't quite anticipate was the high deposit and how long VRBO holds the deposit before refunding back (14 days). Other than that, we hope to return when we're back in the area.”

“We live locally and rented for one night for my husbands birthday! The interior was decorated really cute! Unfortunately it was misting outside so we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit, but still got to enjoy the hot tub! Great hosts, easy to check in, very accommodating! Definitely would recommend! Very unique experience!”

“This was our 4th time staying in the Bird House and we had another enjoyable time. We love the country location it makes us feel like home. This time we enjoyed the York Herb and Garden Festival on Friday and spent a lot of time visiting the Amish Greenhouses. We cook most of our meals to spend time with our dogs but we did order take our from Caruso's Italian Restaurant and it was great and only 5 minutes away so still very hot when we arrived back to the house. We would highly recommend it and...

“This home was great as a base camp for our travel through local history in the region. It was convenient to Lancaster County proper, Lititz, and Gettysburg. The home allowed us to relax in the evenings with quiet time and provided us a chance to hit the day running with eggs and sausage for breakfast. We will recommend this home to family/friends who may travel to the area.”
