Prequel story: Our flight to Amsterdam was delayed by one day. Called the reception to adjust the booking. Was told that as long as there was an empty room left, we could move the booking without any charge. Unfortunately, no rooms were available.
When we get there, there's a room available. For full charge, of course.
Either way, we payed for the extra day so we could stay at the same hotel the entire trip. On the second last day, just before we were heading out, the cleaning lady came in and told us that the room was supposed to be empty.
Long story short, they charged us for the extra night but never actually changed the booking, so we were about to have all of our stuff thrown out because of this.
We went to talk with the staff who then fixed it, but this shouldn't have been a problem in the first place.
Nice place in every way except for this.
